    Udo delivers again

    by ElectricFuneral65 on 4/9/18Trocedero - Philadelphia

This is the 3rd time that I have seen the band on this tour. Tonight was the final night of the Dirkschneider US tour. They played the same set list, however they added in 1 bonus song,I'm A Rebel at the end of the show. This is a very good venue with great acoustics. The show was 1 hour and 50 minutes and they played a variety of Accept songs that covered the entire catalog. There were definitely a few more obscure songs for the die hard Accept fans. Udo states that next time he comes back to the states,he will only play songs from his Udo band.At 66 years old,he may not make it back to the states with a headlining tour, however hopefully he will come back in a direct support role with a bigger band.

    Udo knows his audience

by dhoff0314 on 2/26/18Gramercy Theatre - New York

While many of us would love to see Accept with Udo in front, this is not possible. So Udo has put together this excellent band in order to celebrate his years with Accept as well as with us, his lifelong fans. This show does not disappoint. Udo is not the most animated frontman in the history of Heavy Metal music, but the material is just so high-quality that it barely matters. His voice is (mostly) still there and one could very easily close ones eyes and imagine that you are hearing Accept perform in a different time. Leads are often note-for-note and the riffs are executed well. The drumming is top-notch. For longtime fans of Udo and Accept, this tour is an excellent way to reconnect with this music. It feels like seeing an old friend. The stage set is minimal and the music takes center-stage. The setlist spans Accepts "golden era" up to 'Objection Overruled'. It is a great reminder of Accepts music, an important and often overlooked precursor to what would later become thrash-metal. I highly recommend this to anyone who was a fam of Accept.

UDO sounded great, just like in the 80’s. Gramercy Theatre great place to see a show!
