Diva's of Dipset arrived 3 Hours LATE!!!

by SunKissedQue on 6/30/14Echostage - Washington

If you don't mind standing around waiting 3 hours for a throwback rap group that hasn't had a hit in this decade, than a Dipset concert is where you need to be! The show was supposed to start at 9:00pm, Dipset didn't even make it to the venue until 12:30am, and didn't take the stage until 1:00am after the "meet & greet" that was supposedto be from 8:30-9:00pm! Not even Aretha Franklin nor Beyoncé, the Divas of ALL Divas, arrives 3 hours late to a performance. With no time for sound/mic check I found the music to be distorted and it was hard to make out which songs were being played until midway through the song.

Don't Waste Your Money or Time

    by Jen5290 on 6/30/14Echostage - Washington

The show started at 9. I expected them to start late, but I was expecting 11. Dipset didn't hit the stage until after 1am! They performed for roughly 15 minutes each. Jim Jones went first, then Juelz, then Cam. I was there for Cam'ron. So, even though my feet were ACHING I had to at least see him but we ended up leaving in the middle of his set. Echo stage is set up horribly! Most venues have the top and bottom floors to be able to see the show but at Echostage the top floor was tables only. You could stand up there but you couldn't be anywhere near the rails or anywhere you may possibly have a good view. We asked about table prices and were told the tables were $600. We only paid $35 for the ticket and I was there with just 2 other ladies so it didn't even make sense to waste that money. Between 9-1 there were a million different opening acts. None were very good and the boo's from the crowd let that be known. I'll never return to Echostage for another show, EVER. And if you're short, like me, make sure you make it to the front or it's impossible to see anything!

It was great. Cam'ron jumped out only 15 minutes after the 9pm start time. I was afraid I was going to have to wait. The best parts were when Cam'ron was rapping--he's the best live performer in Dipset. Vado was really good live too. Juelz shined with his acapella raps and Jones was good overall too. Unfortunately, a lot of the time the background music/beats overpowered the lyrics.

YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS.........DIPSET DIPSET DIPSET!!

by Rillah on 4/19/114th and B - San Diego

The long awaited return of the Diplomats finally arrived on the West Coast as Jim Jones and Juelz Santana rocked San Diego on Saturday April 16th. Cam'ron was not present, unfortunately, but that didn't come as a surprise as they cancelled the previous nights show in Hollywood. Jim Jones and Juelz delivered a high powered performance and played all the hits. Dipset would be nothing without Jim and Juelz.....and they made that clear. CALIFORNIA is waiting for another show!

Dipset! The movement never fails to amaze me.

by TKO89 on 12/6/10Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New York

Concert was amazing and well worth the drive from Boston, Massachusetts. It was held in Manhattan at a beautiful ballroom (Hammerstein). All members of the group were there besides .40 Cal. Jim started off doing his own songs, then Juelz, then Cam/Vado, then they did songs as a group. I liked how they switched off doing their solo stuff then came together as a group and did classic joints. Impressed as always with the Dipset. The only negative thing was getting into the Hammerstein. There were only 4 security guards patting down people so the line went for about 2 blocks. I would suggest increasing the amount of security guards near the entrance. The concert was scheduled for 7:30 and we got in at 8:30 unfortunately due to the poor security check.

by OMisa on 11/29/10Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New York

The concert was amazing and I am still in the moment I loved to see them together as a whole unit. I really did enjoy myself it was one of the most peaceful events that I have been to in a long time. I hope to see them all again in with the new stuff they are working on now that they all have grown up in business..... I was really nice and they showed real brotherhood I was like wow real men doing real things. And they are all African American and united that was the biggest part of the blessing.... Sincerely, Omisa

    A Great Evening!!

by QUEEN71 on 11/29/10Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New York

The Dipset Reunion concert was worth the wait. I really enjoyed myself, had a lovely time, and had a serious workout from dancing and shouting. It's nice when you can see such a talented group men settle whatever differences they had, join together and perform as such without missing a beat. Very nice gentlemen!! :-)
