At a kid event, you need to fill all time with excitement; otherwise the kids will loose interest. While I enjoyed the facts about the Dino’s the stage should have been filled with way more puppets than what was shown. Also leaving the lights on and then turning them off suddenly when the trex came out with a very load roar scared every kid around where we were sitting to tears. The meet and greet in the lobby was a nice touch, but maybe have it more organized so that more kids can see the Dino’s up close.
Felt like i was watching a play put on by 6 graders that i paid dearly to watch. The dinosaur costumes are neat but they advertise the show way different then what it really is. Everybody was disappointed. I never leave reviews fyi....
For as much money as I spent on tickets this show was a huge disappointment and only an hour long. It is a fun show for the kids but buy the cheap tickets if you plan on attending.
Actual show- too much talking. Very loud. Didn’t keep my kid engaged. Price was high for how long the show was.
The venue was great, everyone was so ready to assist in any way they could. The event was fun and lively! The only downfall is the speaker's sound was a little low and hard to hear over the kids in the crowd. There were times we couldn't hear at all. My kids are older so they were very interested in the dialog and facts about the dinosaurs. We very much enjoyed the show either way.
My 4 year old loves dinosaurs and loved every minute of the show. They let you meet some of the dinosaurs after the show and he really enjoyed that too. Show is a must, if your kids love dinosaurs. We will definitely go back when they are back in town.
Not only did the show start over 10 min late, but it was slow and not captivating in the least. This so called 50 min show was barely 40. I honestly tried to put myself in the mindset of a child, but all the children around us were bored as well. My children kept asking where the dinosaurs were throughout the whole show. FinallyT-rex comes out and like that he was gone. So disappointing
I brought my 3 year old daughter who I obsessed with dinosaurs. She loved it! There were booster seats provided for little ones. The show was very interactive with the audience and brought many kids to the stage. Afterwards everyone was able to pet two interactive Dino’s. The cons were there was not enough food at the vendors. I heard people complain about it being all out of food. Also, there was no merchandise to buy for the kids.
Great show for 5 and 6 year olds. 9 year old just skeptical. My only issue is the "phone only" tickets. Don't make me get a phone.
The after meet and greet was awesome though. My grandson loved meeting the dinosaurs.
Brought my 20 month old and 3 year old dino fanatics. They loved it even though the t rex was a bit scary! Just dont sit to close to stage with real littles! The adults loved it too and the meet and greet after was great. I could have been entertained for another hour!
My kids loved this! I was worried because it started late, but honestly it was about an hour long and my kids were engrossed in the show the whole time. They’re interactive with the audience and at the end you get a chance to pet the dinosaurs.
The 6 y.o. liked it. I thought it was ok. The sound effects were awesome. I wish there had been merchandise for sale.
There was a lot of information and not enough dinosaurs. Ok for older people, not so much fun for the little ones. They could have had a few more dinosaurs to touch after the show so it wasn’t as crowded. Very hard for the kids to see anything. I would not recommend this show . AND paying $10 to park! $5 would have been fair but $10 was excessive I think. Pretty disappointed.
I'll be frank with you... I wasn't sure about this whole show, but my nephew who is 7, LOVES dinosaurs, so this worked as a great Christmas gift to him. It started promptly, and for the most part was a one woman show, with the occasional helping hand. Let us not forget the people who worked these beasts. For being glorified puppetry, it was pretty cool looking. It was moderately educational, and entertaining enough for the adults in the audience. The show lasted just about 60 minutes on the nose, with a bunch of different dinosaurs coming out and interacting with people chosen from the crowd. At the end, kids could go to the lobby/concourse area and see/pet a couple of the smaller dinosaurs. Overall, it was perfect for what I was after. My nephew had a really great time. The only word of caution I would mention, is that if your kid is much older than 9-ish, this show may not have been really fun. It is definitely aimed at young kids, 4 to 9 years of age.
My 6 year old grandson my husband and I had a blast 🦖🦕🦖 Fun show lots of great Dino facts Perfect length show for young paleontologist 🦕
It was very entertaining. Used kids in the audience. Very informative about the dinosaurs.
Started a little late, many kids got fidgety. The emcee Maranda talked too much and talked over the kids' head. And the accent she used made it difficult for the kids to understand. She spent too much time giving her "island" background when the kids just wanted to see the dinosaurs. There should be an age suggestion. My kids, 5 and 8 yrs old, were fine. However at the beginning when the house went dark there was about 7 minutes of little ones crying loudly and you couldn't heard the show. Maranda did a nice job of engaging some of the kids, bringing them on stage etc. The dinosaurs were very cool. The kids loved them. The venue was great, no bad seats.
My 2 year old loved it. Lots of happy kiddos there. Highly recommend
