    DIMMU BORGIR=INCREDIBLE

by Judgiekinz on 12/3/10Fox Theater - Pomona

This was my 5th and by far most impressive time seeing Dimmu Borgir. Their sound was absolutely crushing! They were by far the LOUDEST band I've heard live. The bass drums were so powerful that I swear they were making my heart skip beats. The crowd was amazing too, everyone was singing along and feeding off the energy coming from the band (who performed flawlessly, I really hope they keep DARAY as their drummer, he is a BEAST). If you are still thinking of seeing Dimmu on this tour....STOP THINKING AND BUY YOUR TICKET NOW!!! Also, check out mine and reviewer PROVOKKER's pics, we got to meet Galder, Silenoz and BLOOD RED THRONE!

Dimmu Borgir was cool but left out some songs

by Bonesindecay on 12/1/10The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

Fox Theater pomona is an awesome venue. Dimmu Borgir was cool. I wanted to hear Reptile, Metal Heart, Storm Blast, & Burn in Hell but they didnt perform it. Maybe next time. the Fox theater beats the glass house times 10.

    Brutal is an understatement

by metsteve on 12/1/10The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

Was in the second row in front of Shagrath. That night was insane, crowd was massive and everyone participated in chanting and singing. Shagrath even held out the mic to me twice. They did their part as a band and we all did ours as a crowd. Dimmu Borgir always destroys each place they play at...in a positive way that is. Best show ever.

Dimmu put on an amazing show, which rocked from the moment they walked on stage until they played their last song.

Satan Knows How To Do It!

by Metaljock on 11/30/10The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

I'm not that crazy about the symphony heavy new album and I was wondering how they would pull it off live. I miss the old bass player and his clean vocals. However, the show was really amazing. It was a mix of old and new material and fan favorites! I hope there will be a second leg of this tour because I want to see it again! Enslaved was also amazing!

Awesome show. The venue looked a bit small, but they made the best of it.. A mixed bag of folks attending. Great crowd. I'd definitely go to see them again.

    All around Awesome

by Anonymous on 11/30/10The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

Well first off it was like the best holidays rolled into one being able to see Dimmu Borgir. All the bands put on awesome sets. The venue was gorgeous! The food at the venue was pretty tasty and so were the booze. There is also a BevMo across the street. There are a lot of homeless around, but with just a bit of compassion on your part they will make sure nobody messes with your car.

Awesome concert! BloodRedThrone kicked a$$ as well as Enslaved and Dimmu Borgir...Dimmu had to be the loudest act I've ever seen live, and the sound was terrific!

    Can you beat Dimmu live?

by Anonymous on 11/30/10The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

Excellent show! They rocked the show really hard, and had the pit moving like no other. Lighting was great, sound was awesome, and the band was spot on with all their songs. I would recommend to anyone who even likes Dimmu Borgir just a little bit!

    Amazing Show!

by NoNameNecessary on 11/29/10The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

Dimmu's performance was amazing! Do not miss this show if your a fan! Thier new music was great live. While all three of the opening bands that performed put on a great performance, I wanted to also mention the outstanding performance of “Dawn of Ashes” who opened up first. They were well polished, and professional. Their new music was very powerful and thier show alone was worth the price of admission. A few of the band members were in the audience after thier set and they were great to the fans, taking photos etc.

    Dimmu Borgir!

by Dizziness on 11/28/10Showbox SODO - Seattle

The sound system was great, and the stage setup was pretty nice considering it wasn't a very big venue. For a band that's been around for quite awhile and has had a lot of album releases, they did a excellent job of mixing up their new stuff with old.

    Enslaved was great

by Skirvir on 11/26/10Showbox SODO - Seattle

I went to the concert primarily to see Enslaved, and what I got was an excellent show from them. I don't live anywhere near Seattle, but I always try to make the effort to see them play. I saw them a few years ago at El Corazon when they were headlining. There, they had a longer set and were able to do more material from their older albums. Here, they were limited to a relatively short set. 45 minutes for a band that does 10-minute songs can be difficult, but they still managed to excel. As for Dimmu Borgir, they relied too heavily on pre-recorded material, and used strobe lighting aimed at the crowd to disguise what was a relatively uninspiring stage performance. At their best, they sounded reminiscent of Emperor, at their worst, they sounded like Emperor-wannabes. I can't see myself going to another one of their concerts, but I didn't go to this one to see them, either, so I'm not really going to worry about it. I still got my money's worth from Enslaved. Blood Red Throne was also a pleasant surprise.

This really was probably one of the best concerts I've been to in my life. It was absolutely amazing, Dimmu Borigir is my favorite band and I was shocked to see how well they preformed live! It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had and I will remember that night for the rest of my life. Dimmu ROCKS!!!
