Enjoyed the show. But, we probably enjoyed seeing Devon and Duane the most.
It was hard to watch a legend miss so many guitar licks and sing so out of key. The whole band was out of time at one point or another. I feel like they should have practiced a bit longer before taking their show in the road. I left sad, not mad.
Dickey gives it his all. Great to see him back on stage!
Dickey betts was as good as advertised. Supported by a talented group of musicians dickey took his southern rock format to the next level. Inspired guitar as always and nothing like hearing vintage solo material as well as Allman bros. Classics.
Awesome, had a fantastic time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dickey Betts never fails to amaze. Truly one of the most gifted players in Rock N' Roll history! No one else but Jerry Garcia has had this ability to bring such melodic beauty to a song AND then explore and extrapolate every nuance available. Time just flies when he's playing. He's really worked Great Southern into a well oiled machine. You can tell that Dickey really cares about every aspect of the sound. And his guitar tone is simply the sweetest and clearest on the planet. The Allman's lost it all when he left. He can make you dance!
Dickey betts lived up to all expectations. Truly among the finest guitar players and his band are great musicians too. almost as fun to watch as hear - especially the drummers.
Dickey Betts and Great Southern embody the essence of the Allman Brothers sound. The long jam sessions, the rolling open atmospheric sound that is unique to the Allman Brothers and also to some extent the Grateful Dead. Seeing this show in such a small venue made the experience more immediate. A definite must see show!!!
Loved it!!! Great musicians, great songs, Great Jessica encore! Fantastic keyboard player Nice sets and dickey betts is a legend
5 stars ALL NIGHT !!!! Will definantly go the next time they come back to L.A.
I don't care how young or old you are or what kind of music you like, this is a concert not to be missed. The man and his band are some of finest musicians on the planet. How lucky were we to see them in person. Don't miss it!
Dickey is still shreddin' the guitar these days! As a bonus, you also get his son Duane doing some very good lead guitar work! Also, I had a "situation" with my seats at the Saban. Paul, the Box Office Mngr was very courteous & very quick to resolve my "situation" - hats off to the Saban Theater!
Great show. Great times.. start time, limited menu,$7 beers...$10 drinks. not so great...BUT FUN WAS HAD BY ALL...ROCK 'N' ROLL
Dickey Betts really rocked the NY Socirty For Ethical Culture with a combination of Allman Brothers AOR hits & solo songs with his band The Great Southern
First time to Bethel Woods and must say the indoor venue is perfect. The show was intimate...we got second row seats in the last minute. There is room to dance in the back so as not to bother anyone and still feel close. Dickey Betts never disappoints...best tunes and Great Southern is tight. So much fun. Got half a set list, went outside after the show to get it signed and Duane sent me to the bus to get a sharpie! Still flying from such a perfect awesome night!
Best we've seen him in years. The whole band was tight. Whoever was on the board could have used some help; they had it way too loud for a small venue. Other than that, 100%
This was non-stop rock and roll...at its BEST! JAM ON!
Dickey played his red guitar better than I have even seen him, He was so on, the band was tight, songs great. the place was packed, he played for 2 1/2 hours. He will outlast the Allman Brothers now that they are breaking up, who would have guessed that one. They sourly miss his influence with the band.
Dickey can still play and he played all the hits. Well worth seeing!
I won't bother seeing the Allman brothers anymore, Betts is all and more
