About

Deadpan vocalist/MC Dev (Devin Tailes), a California native, released her first single, “Booty Bounce,” in August 2010. After it was sampled on Far East Movement's similarly mindless Hot 100 topper “Like a G6” -- a Cataracs production -- the song gained widespread notice and its video generated over three million views on YouTube. After signing a deal with Universal Republic, Dev collaborated in the truest sense with the Cataracs duo on “Bass Down Low,” a single that reached the Hot 100 in December. Another single, "In the Dark," arrived in April 2011. Her first album for Universal Republic, The Night the Sun Came Up, appeared in 2011 in Europe and the U.K.; it was released in the U.S. in March 2012. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi

  • Most up-close experience

This was awesome! The most up-close possible experience with Dev, where she was singing inches away from me and walked off the stage into the crowd and back couple of times! It was fantastic! I wished she hadn't brought her daughter on the stage though!

  • Dev was a blast (:

She was such an entertaining performer, and I had so much fun! The only thing was, the concert was very short, and Whitney Meyer didn't fit the concert. Honestly, she performed just as long, if not longer, than Dev. The DJ before was great, Whitney Meyer was fair, and Dev was amazing!

The music was amazing. Both Dev and Outasight made the roof blow off. If they came back again, I would see them in a heartbeat, it was that good.

As expected Dev was absolutely incredible. I'm excited for her to really blow up and have a longer set! I left begging for more.

Wynter Gordon was an amazing opener, but could not compare to the amazing Dev! She stole the show as she started off with the first track of her album, then sped through to her unforgettable singles. This is a performance no one should miss!
