Dixie was uplifting, funny, ornery &a great time!

by Bambi777888999 on 1/5/16Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

Dixie put on a great show, it'd never be the same twice, a lot of impromptu! I don't know where to start or stop but clearly a heart of gold! Love the humor, love the encouraging story line, and all the orneriness! I will go back!

    Fun! Fun! Fun!

by ChipnChuck on 1/3/16Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

My mother wanted to see this but I was unsure. She has appeared to not like this kind of humor, But she laughed the whole show. Now I should take her to the Tupperware show next.

    Dixie was funnier selling Tupperware.

by Sally345 on 12/29/15Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

I enjoyed Dixie's Tupperware Party, but this show let me down. The mechanical bull was broken. ?? Then, why advertise Dixie riding it? This seemed like more of a speech about accepting everyone as they are. I didn't appreciate the undertones. But, it was also message of live life to the fullest, regardless of what others think of you and ignore the stupid people that you run into. While it may be a good message. It certainly wasn't what I expected - having a raucous time doing dumb stuff when you've drank too much. This was totally misleading and not as funny. Try again!

    extremely funny

by DesMoinesGuy on 12/21/15Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

I had never talked to anyone who has seen a Dixie show so I didn't realize how funny she is. We decided to go because a friend recommended it. What a funny person Dixie is! We laughed and laughed at her. The stage setting was great, the lighting was great, the sound was great, everything was great. Dixie really has her timing right, everything about this was great. We are glad we went and wish we knew how good this was so we could have gone to the original show.

    Dixie Longate cracks me up!

by Lundo on 12/16/15Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

Another fun 'girls night' with Dixie Longate. Never Wear a Tubetop show was as much of a hit as the Tupperwear Party. But I was also impressed at the underlying message of living life to it's fullest and not giving a damn what other people think!

    dixie night

by Funtimes56 on 12/15/15Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

the show was entertaining, jokes good, performance very good. Big negative for me was I "hate" audience" participation. I pay serious money to come and be entertained, not having to get up and perform, what the heck am I paying for if I have to be part of the show. Can't these performers put a show together without pulling people out if the crowd,, I'm tired of it. Material was good and funny but for me I could have spent myomey elsewhere.

    Total hilarity!!!

by FredEBear on 12/13/15Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

I would recommend that women not bother putting on eye make-up for this play. I laughed so hard I cried for the entire show!!!! Dixie says what some of us would if we dared and says more that some would dare to even THINK of! Totally politically incorrect, irreverent, and hilarious!!! Talks so fast she doesn't bother to breathe. And I laughed so hard, I could hardly breathe!! Then she has a soft little message toward the end. Total hilarity--beginning to end--looking forward to her next show!!

    Suprising

by pamsammijo on 12/11/15Des Moines Performing Arts - Temple Theater - Des Moines

the show was excellent. Not was I thought..but even better. My son, husband and I went to this show based on title only. Wasn't that at all. The show was more than expected and lasted the right amount of time. Great entertainment. Would recommend this performance to all.
