Derek Trucks Tickets

Remarkable. The show was like a religious experience. Soulful and uplifting. Derek and friends continue to get better.

The show was ok, had to leave early do to fear of failing future drug tests.

Derek and Susan were awesome!!!! Scrapomatic is as well.... loved the show, wished they had played maybe 1 more hour,it was over at 12:25, been really a nice added touch if they had played till at least 1am, 50 more mins would have been icing on the cake but awesome none the less!

Derek and band jammed like their was no tomorrow ...and WOW Susan what a voice.

I've seen Derek Trucks in three settings this year with The Allman Brothers, hisown band and with Susan Tedeschi. When he strarts to play you can feel the majic of a master of his instrument. With his wife he was not as showy as I've seen with his own band or the Allmans but he was no less a great musician. perhaps better due to the restraint and taste he played with. He was more relaxed and at ease. He is often a stone face in other settings but you could see feel and hear the rapport he has with his wife. He even smiles on occassion. Susan Tedeschi also displayed her talents as a player and singer. She is a cross between Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. The band is much younger than the other bands but they are all talented. Overall it was a great evening of hearing blues played the way it was meant to be played with conviction, intensity and feeling.

Guitar playing at it finest! If you have never seen Derek live and like rock and the blues you are certainly missing something. Susan singing of the blues is the best.

The show was great. Derek once again proved that he is a formable talent and one of the leading great guitar players of this era. Susan's voice is stronger and better than ever and the husband-wife combo made for a very entertaining evening. The band (all players) smoked! No weak links there for sure. The show had what I enjoy watching, good music, no smoke bombs or theatrics. The smaller venue was good as it felt like you were part of a private event.

Susan and Derick have had to work awfully hard to put together a show like this but I believe this is what was missing from the start. Maybe they were just waiting for the right time. But Susan owned all the music and Derick is comfortable anywhere. But they avoided the trap of staying in the Blues corner, and changed things up with a variety of styles, the intensity of which would appeal to the most hard core fan. Susan Tedeschi has arrived on the scene, modest yet self-assured....confident, graceful with soul-beckoning vocal riffs somewhere between Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. I believe they even did a tribute song of Bonnie's. We're gonna hear alot more from these guys. This was their coming out. And how Derick continues to get better, it's just Unbelievable!!

I was somewhat reluctant to see a show at this venue after watching a concert the previous week but it turned out to be quite a show. After all was said and done, the SRO tickets I bought were worth the price for Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi Band. With minor inconveniences regarding patrons slipping in to order drinks, this did not overshadow the overall musicianship of the headliners and the supporting bandmates. Every aspect of their performance was top notch. I would match Susan Tedeschi's vocal abilities up against anyone in the music industry male or female. Her voice captured the essence of the music that the band was performing. As for Derek Trucks, he is in a league of his own. He made sounds on this guitar that I had never heard before and it just blew me away. He has truly mastered his craft and I was fortunate to witness it.

We have seen Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi with each their bands separately and they are always very good. Put them together with one band and they are awesome. Susan Tedeschi has a fantastic earthy blues voice. It is as good as any other blues singer that I have heard. And we all know that Derek Trucks is literally the best guitar player in the world at this time. Great concert!

The show was truly amazing. I not been to a live show before. I haven't seen a show where it looked like everyone was having a great time on stage. Execellent show.

after buying tickets for the concert I learned that they were playing new materials and covers. I was prepared to be disappointed. I was wrong. I am 61 yrs old and have seen many many concerts,this one was one of the best. Halfway through I turned to my wife and said, this might be the best band I ever heard. My wife is not a big music fan, but she will go to concerts with me because she enjoys the atmosphere, she looked at me and said Derek and Susan are incredable. The gentleman sitting next to me leaned over said " this is really special. I agree.It was a special night. about

Excellent show period. Together these two IMO are music royalty. Can't wait to see them again!!
