Pioneering synth-pop band Depeche Mode have sold over 100 million albums and played to over 35 million fans worldwide. Depeche Mode was formed in 1980 by Andy Fletcher, singer Dave Gahan and keyboardists Martin Gore and Vince Clarke. The band released their U.S. breakthrough in 1984 with the platinum-certified album Some Great Reward, which included iconic songs such as “Master and Servant” and the Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 hit “People Are People.” By the ’90s, Depeche Mode became one of the most popular bands of the alternative music boom. Their triple-platinum album Violator (1990) became a smash hit that spawned alternative classics such as "Personal Jesus” and "Enjoy the Silence.” Over 40 years after their formation, Depeche Mode continues to be a touring force; the band’s 2017–2018 Global Spirit Tour grossed over $202 million. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020. Following the tragic passing of Fletcher in 2022, Depeche Mode forged ahead with their 15th studio album Memento Mori in 2023 and a massive world tour, and remain as influential as ever.

best concert ever... didnt sit the entire concert.. amazing set list and sound.. would pay to see them again!
Dave and the rest of the band performed great! His voice sends chill down your spine. It's the first time I've seen them and loved it. I would strongly urge anyone to see the show at least once if not more.
Concert was great! I enjoyed the new songs as well as the old....really wanted to hear "home" but was thrilled anyway! The guys looked and sounded great..wish I could go again tonite!
What can we say , saw then in the 80 and just got better though the ages
Another great show from Depeche Mode! They are still in top form. The new songs sounded great.
This was probably one of the better shows I've ever seen! They are incredible live & their voices are magnificent... even better than the recording. GO SEE THEM!
Actually, it was the best concert I've ever been to. a lot of classics brought the house down
The boys really out did themselves last night, they brought all the great ones. I've seen them already on the last 5 tours and have to say that last night was one of the best if not the Best! I wanted the show to never end!
Last night's DM concert was the first concert I have been to in years and let me tell you that it was great! It was great because they sounded just like they had when I saw them last 10+ years ago. I love their music and their energy. They played songs from their new album, which sounded way better than it did on my iPod. They also were in tune with their audience and played a lot of their core DM songs. Being an old concert goer at 42, I was happy to see that I was not the only one in my age group. Would definitely go again the next time they are in town.
Oh my god! This show was unforgettable, Depeche Mode are amazing performers and watching them live is a unbelievable experience. My girlfriend and I had amazing seats and were definitely worth every penny!
depeche mode was awesome once again, rocking the garden for 2+ hours. they are in top form!
started slow, new songs are forgettable, but you can't beat good old ones!
The production was very cool with awesome graphics on the screen. Dave Gahan can sing and dance amazingly. Martin Gore also sings great live. The music sounded ultra professional and delicious.
This was a terrific show, with an excellent play list. The boys from DM interacted with the audience and I was clear the audience loved it!
Although new songs are not as good as old ones. Show was stunning. But the sound was NOT.
I've gone to at least 5 other DM concerts, but this one by far was THE BEST! I don't know if it was the atmospere of the Molson Amphitheatre or the fact that I've been waiting about 3.5 years for them to go on tour again or the simple fact that the boys can still put on a show! I do know that the David Gahan just gets hotter with age and his voice is the best thing that has ever happened to Martin Gore's lyrics. Beyond my expectations and wish that I could see/hear them again! It was Martin Gore's birthday, so we all got to sing Happy Birthday to him. Cool way to end the show too.
Amazing performance. Wow. Band of the Century. No one does it like dM!!!!!!!!!!! Please god dont let this be their last tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been in love with Depeche Mode for about 20 years now, so I was incredibly excited to attend this concert because it was my first time seeing them live. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed (although I am admittedly biased because I love the band so much that just having the opportunity to see them was enough to make it an excellent experience). Dave Gahan has so much energy. He exuded it onstage. It was very entertaining to watch him shimmy around to the music. The band played a well-balanced set of old and new songs. However, they steered clear of their earliest material. Maybe there's enough bad blood between them and former songwriter Vince Clarke that they don't even want to play the songs. That was a little disappointing, but overall they played most of the favorites that I was hoping to hear. Martin Gore performed a couple of the few songs that he takes lead vocals for, which was great. While I prefer the uniqueness of Dave's voice over his, he has a great singing voice and it was nice to see him have a chance in a more direct spotlight. I don't know - it just somehow made the band seem more like a family, if that makes any sense. Bottom line - the concert was excellent. Dave's voice was overall spot-on. It's great to go to a concert and see that the person you admire can indeed sing. Sometimes that isn't the case - it's blatantly obvious that the vocalist only sounds good on the albums after heavy editing/manipulation in the studio. That is definitely not the case with Depeche Mode. The live music is very genuine - an excellent reflection of the music on their studio albums. The sound quality was great, the visuals were interesting, and the band had so much energy. They played for a good long while, too, which was very nice considering the ridiculous amount of money I had to spend on tickets. It was worth every penny, though.
So lucky this show happened. The weather held up, and Depeche Mode was amazing!! They sounded like classic DM yet modern with the edgy guitar accents, and earthshaking bass beats. Loved how the show opened with an enormous flock of seagulls fleeing from the roof of the Amphitheatre as they began playing (we were on the lawn - it looked really poetic!) Didn't want the show to end! Best concert of the year for me.
I went to this concert as a favour to my wife. The opening song was a little off pitch but being a true professional, by the second chorus he was back and stayed on for the rest of the show. I attend a few concerts a month and this was the best sound quality and best production I have seen in years. The guys are getting old and a little self concious since their images on the big screen were often black and white or artistic negative images.
