Deon Cole is a comedian, writer, and actor, who can currently be seen in the critically acclaimed drama series, AVERAGE JOE, for BET+.
Deon can be seen in Jeymes Samuels' THE HARDER THEY FALL, for Netflix, opposite Idris Elba and Regina King. He can also be seen in Kenya Barris' YOU PEOPLE, for Netflix, opposite Eddie Murphy. Next up Deon stars in Amblin/Warner Bros. adaptation of THE COLOR PURPLE, opposite Taraji P. Henson and Colman Domingo, directed by Blitz Bazawule.
Deon can also be seen as Charlie on ABC's BLACK-ISH and Freeform's GROWNISH. For his work on BLACK-ISH, Deon won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times in a row at the 2020, 2021 & 2022 NAACP Image Awards. Previously, he starred as Detective Daniel "DJ" Tanner on the TBS comedy ANGIE TRIBECA opposite Rashida Jones, and co-starred in the Ice Cube led BARBERSHOP film series.
In standup, Deon recently released his latest one-hour special for Netflix, CHARLEEN'S BOY. His last special, COLE HEARTED, also for Netflix, was released in 2019 after the success of his appearance in Netflix's THE STANDUPS. His previous one-hour special, DEON COLE'S: COLE BLOODED SEMINAR was shot for Comedy Central. His stand-up documentary, WORKIN' IT OUT, debuted exclusively on Netflix is a Joke's Youtube channel, and has garnered 6 million views on social media, and over 2 million views on Youtube.

Deon Cole's show in Atlantic City on April 12 was Super Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We laughed from the beginning until the end of the show. He is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever hasn't seen him live, MUST go see him. Ocean Glapion is the person that opens up for Deon and he is FUNNY!!!!!!!!! as hell to. The Dynamic Duo will have you in tears from start to finish.
Deon Cole was so funny we had a GREAT time. We also enjoyed his new material that he presented and his opening act Ocean. They were both good and we laughed all night and still using âif your man is over 50 and working out heâs cheatingâ. Haha
Between the easy of the traffic, organized entrance and exit, clean facility, to the drinks we had a great time!

Deon was fantastic! His opening act was also great! They started on time, he stayed on stage longer than needed to ensure we got our money's worth, and we laughed nonstop the entire show ! Money well spent for sure!
