Demola’s performance was amazing! He is an entertainer hands down! It was worth every penny! Not only is he talented, but he was born to entertain. We left fully satisfied. I can’t for him to come back. You have earned a fan for life!
My girls and I went to see Demola in Minneapolis and the venue was small, but it made for a really great show. Varsity theater was very classy and clean. All the employees were very nice. Demola came down in the audience and interacted and it was awesome. I would definitely go see him again.
Really enjoyed Demola. He is quite the entertainer and made sure the audience had a laugh as well as performed the BEST songs. I also enjoyed how he did a collaboration with 2 saxophone players and a flautist. Would definitely recommend and go see him again. I even bought a t-shirt afterwards. The DJ was entertaining and provided a good vibe. Things I didn't like: - Tickets were advertised as buy one get one but the crazy high fees made the tickets more like full price instead of half price. - The show started almost an hour late. - The opening acts were dreadful. Who expects to see hard rap when you're coming to a violinist concert??? - Merchandise table was chaotic after the show. Only 2 people manning the table. Had only 1 card reader. They wanted to be cashless, but everyone needed to download the app. House of Blues needs to do better.
I really hope that he keeps this same format! He was engaging and it was just an overall amazing show! He’s so talented! The right mix of songs…I especially loved the old school! Oh, and thank you for acknowledging local talent! 5 stars!
I’m already looking to attend his next show in either Houston or New Orleans, that’s how much I loved his performance! Definitely the best concert I have ever attended. Looking forward to a bigger venue though with better food/drinks
The music was so awesome. His abilities as a violinist is unlike anything I’ve seen before. He has charisma and puts on a great performance. Highly recommend.
Where do I start? Demola’s energy was amazing! He played songs from every musical genre for almost 3 solid hours and he could have kept going as far as we were concerned. Demola has a great personality—charismatic, charming, funny, and just a little naughty—which made his frequent ventures into the audience a whole lot of fun. Demola played so many different songs that I wouldn’t be able to list them all, but if you’ve seen the videos, he probably played at least part of the song. In addition to playing his violin, Demola sang songs from his album “One in a Million”. One of the highlights was singing the title tune along with him. There were some outstanding local Dallas singers taking the mike as he walked through the crowd. Demola’s show was so outstanding, I would see it again tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and go see him while he is still playing small venues. He’s a rising star so I think his next tour will be larger venues, where he won’t be able to do all the things he can do now to connect with the audience.
This show (Demola One In A Million) was magical!! Demola is a true entertainer and put on an amazing and memorable show. He is super talented, funny, and engaging. I can't wait to see him again live!! Don't miss out on this experience!

The whole concert was more than I expected. DEMOLA was soooo much more than I expected. I love his music, his spirit, his swag when he plays🎶. Most important, you didn't have to know him personally to feel his kindness and love for all people as a whole. He wasn't secluded to the stage. That man was everywhere strumming that violin all over the venue from the stage to the balcony. The man was on fire. Great show❤️

I really really enjoyed seeing and experiencing a live concert. I saw a interview on Fox 26 News years ago and I said one day I was going to attend one of demola concerts, then I saw him on Facebook and began watching his performance. When I saw he was coming to Houston, I sacrificed and brought two tickets. It was the BEST thing I ever did. I am visually impaired and partially paralyzed, my husband of 28years passed away three years ago, this concert wowed me. He came to the balcony area where I was sitting and stude in front of me and played the violin. I felt so so special even though it wasn't about me, it was a sold out event, I felt alive and not depressed. Thank you Demola the violinist. U R ONE IN A MILLION.
Other than the heat which made lining up outside difficult ( 100 degree feels like 106) the show was amazing. He had a mix of amateur opening and professional acts, giving a platform to up and coming artists. He went from new school to old school, blues, hip hop, classical.... he puts himself in to the performance and takes you with him for the ride. The band is awesome. I just recommend fans outside or something while waiting for doors to open.
