Beautiful day and truly a fun event. Sad to hear Dell is moving the event. Really hope they stay put. Great turnout and numbers with Tiger present. Such a cool and enjoyable day. All the people who make the event happen thumbs up from me! Volunteers great job!!

    Ease of venue for viewing

by Louiethepooie on 9/4/18TPC Boston - Norton

Fantastic experience. Parking excellent, luxurious shuttles, wedding bathrooms, good food, and totally easy to get around because of good signage and informed volunteers.

The only downside of this event is the high prices for food. It's A great venue and beautiful course. Amenities are nice. I've gone 6 years in a row

    For serious fol fans only

    by TonyK9 on 9/3/18TPC Boston - Norton

You have to really like golf to appreciate this so if you're only so so on the game stay home and save the money. It is pricey and so are the concessions($4 just for a bottle of water and they don't allow you to bring your own food or drink) and souvenirs. There is a lot of walking as well. I lucked out on a cooler day and still felt beat at the end of the day( I stayed for about 7 hours. I mean it was nice watching the top golfers in the playoffs for this event. I think they should charge less for the first 2 rounds, like $40 bucks, not $60. Parking is also another $20 and Ticketmaster also through in a service fee of $6.

Wonderful day as always. Dell needs more trash and recycle bins and they need to be emptied more often. Great seeing Tiger back and watching all the new kids was awesome! Can’t wait until next year!

    Course and Parking Issues

by JackBBBBGGGG on 9/3/18TPC Boston - Norton

I have been to much better venues for PGA tournaments. Course is spread out in sections, not friendly to walkers. Even the pros are in carts between holes. And I bought “VIP”parking and walked forever to get to my car. Not sure what I got for the extra $15. There are much better places in Boston for this tournament

    Dell Technologies Pro AM

by NHGolfFan on 9/2/18TPC Boston - Norton

I have always attended the tournament on the Pro Am day. The players are much looser (I am told) and the crowd is smaller. I have seen and heard players interact playfully and jokingly with the gallery and their caddies. Phil Mickelson had a kid caddie for him on a hole and joked with a fan about hitting a flop shot over the guy's head. Tiger was asked to perform a "club twirl for the girls" and did. It is generally much easier to get autographs if you are interested in that. They are still professional golfers, so they hit some very impressive golf shots. Good time.

I have been attending almost every year since it started and the event was just as good as all the past years.

Dell Technologies Championship is a good take!

    by SubaruBryan1776 on 9/8/17TPC Boston - Norton

As an avid golf fan and player, seeing the Big Guns live is always fun. The layout of the course in places does make it difficult to get a good look however. There are long distances between greens to the next tee that the players are carted to so if you're following a certain player, by the time you are allowed past the ropes to the next tee, the players have already played their tee shots. Between holes 3-4 and 4-5 and 7-8 especially. And there were no bargains at the end of the tournament in the Merchandise Tent. $82 for a polo shirt?

    Extremely Well Run

by GolfingFan on 9/6/17TPC Boston - Norton

I highly recommend this event for all golf fans. From the purchase of tickets and parking, the short bus trip from the parking area to the course, the amenities on the course and perhaps most of all the friendliness of the volunteers my interactions were first class. My only suggestion for improvement is to make explicitly clear the size bag that woman can bring on the course. My wife had a modest size handbag that was not allowed. I cannot recall reading anything regarding the size of women's handbags that would be allowed on the course.

    Crappy preparation

    by Jmac50 on 9/5/17TPC Boston - Norton

Not one of the 6 people we asked had any idea where our seats were according to our tickets. Training these folks to know where things are around the venue was severely lacking. We also were never told upon buying the tickets which tent we actually had access to.

Great day -- even for non-golfers (like me)!

    by Loutre1313 on 9/5/17TPC Boston - Norton

Bought tickets for the Saturday Second Round as an anniversary gift for my guy. The weather was great, venue was fabulous -- and the event seamless. DEFINITELY spring for the Club One or other premium tickets. The restrooms ALONE are worth the price of admission. The port-a-potties elsewhere got pretty nasty pretty early in the day. Food and beverages are also much better, not to mention the view -- of the course and the players! TIP: Make SURE your bag fits specifications, or event staff will turn you away. I had a small handbag with me, and it didn't make the cut. Mercifully, we didn't have much of a walk back to the car to drop it off. Shuttle buses to and from the venue came often, and staff handled getting the crowds in and out with speed and efficiency.
