Awesome way to get a close up to the PGA players and see the expressions of determination and frustration!!
On a hundred degree day, $4 per bottle of water was wrong.
1st PGA event for me, definitely will go again. Walked 20 miles tracking my favorite players. Now I know what to do!
The volunteers at the Dell Championships were fantastic and the venue was easy to navigate. We were able to see all of our favorite golfing pros and had a wonderful day.
Too many people. Too many cars. Norton roadways were jammed. One hour to get from 495 exit to golf course. One hour to get from golf course to 495. Totally unlike previous years. Maybe Tiger? If so, I won't attend another tourney when Tiger is playing.
The Tournament was incredible and close up with the players.
The tournament itself was great. However, I paid the extra $ to get access to the Harbor One Pavillion positioned near the 17th tee box and 18th green. These tickets were oversold as the it was overly crowded and no seating was available. I ended going back outside and watched along the ropes with everyone else. I essentially paid an extra $20/ticket to have access to the food concession stand and pay for a rubbery chicken sandwich. If you attend in the future, don't spend the extra money for what was advertised as "reserved" area. Well, it was reserved all right, but sold to too many people.
I have attended many golf tournaments. This was by far the worst and considerably worse than the predecessor Deutschebank event.Reasons: significantly reduced general admission seating and in particular none at the 18th green. It’s very difficult to see the end of the matches - you must stand behind throngs. Much longer wait for buses to get in and out of shuttle parking lot. Much longer time to get in and out of the shuttle parking lot - 50 minutes to leave parking lot and this was not at the end of the event. And for this, we pay more than in the recent past for admission and parking
The tournament itself is fun, if you can ever get there. Took nearly an hour to get into the parking lot once we were a couple miles from the venue. Then have a long walk to a shuttle bus, then another long walk from the bus to the course. Poorly managed set-up.
The TPC Boston Dell Tech tournament was a great event. Shuttles were available and operated very efficiently. Good crowd control and security.
The golf was phenomenal. The course was phenomenal. The volunteers did a tremendous job. Unfortunately the harborone between 17 tee and 18 green was way too overcrowded. It seemed that more tickets were sold than there was room for the people. It was like a college keg party. We encountered several rude and inconsiderate folks as we all tried to watch the golf. The bathroom situation was horrible. Way too few bathrooms for the number of tickets sold. By mid afternoon Sunday it was sickening. Was it worth it to see Tiger play live ??? Absolutely !!!!!
See the icons like Tiger and Michelson while seeing the future of golf with McIroy, Spieth and Pan. Great event by any measure!!
Great day for golf at a wonderful venue. Wish the PGA would change their minds and have the tournament come back to TPC Boston every year!
Up close and in person, with fully engaged, respectful fans, this is something every golf fan should try to do at least once. You’ll never watch golf on TV the same way again.
Well put together. Immaculate conditions. Will go back every year
Going to the FedEx cup tournament is the highlight of the summer!!
Had a great experience at the Dell Technologies Championship on Friday 8/31. I took my 3-year-old son and was a bit nervous about how that would work out. I was very pleasantly surprised. The parking & shuttle were easy and very well organized. Volunteers and staffers at the event couldn't have been friendlier.
Always enjoy watching the PGA tour live but as the crowds increase, just too many hecklers. I think the venue should put up signs indicating that these guys will be removed, no questions asked. I won't go back.
The food offerings were much less than stellar,,,sausages were a sausage in a bun, no veggies,,,Ruth's Chris burgers same thing,,meat in a bun,,
We bought tickets for Saturday at the Harbor One Club thinking we would have seating overlooking the 18th green. When we got there all the seats were taken. They definitely over sold the venue as even the inside tent did not have adequate seating. Very deceiving marketing on their part. We ended up walking the course. In conclusion the TPC Boston was great the Harbor One Club was not.
