Dead Sara amazes me every time!

by Johara on 10/23/18Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I genuinely love this band. I've loved them since the first time I heard Weatherman back in 2012. The raw talent Siouxsie, Emily, and Sean have is astounding and they hold nothing back in their show. I could write a book about the many things that make Dead Sara THE band to go see, but just go yourself and see why. I promise you won't be disappointed

Dead Sara was amazing! And at such a tiny awesome venue, it was super intimate. Loved them before seeing them live... love them even more now. FANTASTIC live band

Best live band making music today

by NoPermanentScars on 10/1/18The Basement - Columbus

There is no better band in rock than Dead Sara and their live shows are unbelievable. They bring energy and talent that is unmatched. See them now while you can in these smaller venues because once everyone finds out about them, they will be selling out giant venues.

    Dead Sara was awesome

by AngDet on 9/28/18The Shelter - Detroit

Highly recommend checking them out if you ever get the chance. The performance was amazing and her voice is unreal! Reminded me of my mom playing Janis Joplin albums when I was young.

    by Fanman20 on 9/17/18The Masquerade - Atlanta

Awesome show as far as I know. Good showmanship, good musicianship. Professional. Must see band. Rock band. Serious L.A. rock band. High quality as high as Guns & Roses.

Dead Sara was good. Venue, not so much.

by Rektor on 8/6/16The Club at Stage AE - Pittsburgh

Dead Sara is one of our favorite newer bands. They finally came to Pittsburgh so we were pumped. Sadly, the crowd was small, the venue had the worst sound ever, and the band only played for about 45 min or so. They played maybe 5 or 6 tunes off their albums, 4 new ones which were cool, and a bunch of fragments of covers. Maybe they were exhausted, maybe it was because the venue was crappy, maybe it was because there were only 50 people there, but we were sorta bummed out. We saw them in Columbus last year and they blew the roof off the club!!! So explosive and incredible when they want to be.

The group were all fighting the flu, but they still put on a great show full of energy and sounded better live than they do on the radio! Was lucky enough to see them in an intimate location. Can't wait to see them again!

    So good live

by davestwin7 on 4/13/15Riot Room - Kansas City

I saw dead sara play in St Louis in march. They were so good i drove to kansas city to see them again. The energy put in by the whole band is a sight to behold. With a great new album just out, seeing it live combined with olderstuff made for a brilliant evening.

Dead Sara...I never felt so alive!

by DenverRocker on 4/11/15Marquis Theater - Denver

I've been waiting nearly 3 years to see Dead Sara live. I finally got my wish last night when they played the Marquis with Monteneros and Wiredogs. Monteneros left something to be desired, but Wiredogs were the perfect warm up (incredible punk energy). Dead Sara came out and launched immediately into the set without hesitation (or even really a "hello."). Emily's voice is beyond description. For lack of a better word, she's simply amazing and the entire set was just about flawless. My girlfriend and other friend had never heard the bad before and were completely blown away by the performance. Her energy was infectious throughout the set, even if she claimed to be overtaken by the altitude. The only downside to the whole show is that they couldn't have just kept going all night! We got to meet Emily after the show and thank her for such a phenomenal show. She's as gracious as she is talented and I absolutely can't wait for the band to go back on tour again. If you've never seen Dead Sara live, you're doing yourself a terrible injustice. Simply put: this was one of the best live performances I've ever seen.

Dead Sara is the best new band around!

by Rektor on 4/8/15The Basement - Columbus

Short and sweet...this show was the best show I've seen in recent memory. Venue was cool and the band was beyond perfect. My only complaint was that I would've liked another hour of music!!!!

    Dead Sara rocked it

by Braaptar on 4/6/15The Basement - Columbus

The Wans opened for Dead Sara, check them out they were a blast. Dead Sara's lead singer was a bit under the weather but no one would have known if she didnt say anything! Absolutely incredible performance and in a great intimate venue.

    Best show ever.

by NoPermanentScars on 4/6/15The Basement - Columbus

I'm 38. I've seen a lot of shows...from Rage Against the Machine to Pearl Jam to loads of punk and hardcore shows. This had to be one of (if not THE) best shows I've ever seen. They sounded even better live than on the albums...a tough task, no doubt. Truly an incredible evening I will never forget.

Dead Sara is a young hot rocking band!

by TonyCota on 5/23/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

This show was simply spectacular! I have never been to the El Rey Theatre so, I was really interested to check out this venue. I was turned on to this band about 1 year ago and just recently downloaded their latest album and I was hooked. They played a sold out show and played a short in your face fast tempo set. My highlight was the cover of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the name" and their own melodic "Dear Love". I am very fortunate to be able to still get out and witness up and coming musicians that WILL hit the "Big Time" in the not so distant future. Twenty-something hard core angst at its best. Emily Armstrong (lead singer) has such a great stage presence and she became one with the audience. Oh yeah, the bassist was phenomenal along with the drummer. I was also impressed with the hot girl guitarist. Her dynamic style is very Jimmy Page like. Being a guitarist, I like that!!

Dead Sara IS live music..exciting & unpredictable!

by Joelkr on 5/14/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Amazing. Small club or arena - they can melt your face off and also make your gut wrench with their amazing vocals and music!!! I wish the best for them because they deserve it but in a selfish way hope I get to see them in many more Viper Room or El Rey-type locations!

Dead Sara is real rock and roll!!!

by SlyKing on 5/13/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

I've been a huge fan of Dead Sara since I first heard their single "Weatherman" on 98.7fm mid 2012. I love their music. This was the first time I saw them live and it was incredible. Emily Armstrong sounds perfect live, amazing voice with precise control. Siouxie, Sean, and Chris are awesome musicians and together they lit the stage and audience up!!!! I actually got to meet Sean (drummer) just before they went on and he was very kind and thanked me for the support. That was icing on the cake. Wish I could've met all four band members, but watching their performance was a blessing enough. LISTEN TO DEAD SARA AND GO SEE THEM LIVE!!!!!!
