Only downside was the one, one, beer stand that was super slow.
Ive seen him live 3 times, he puts on an amazing show!! I had such a good time!! The Covid rules in the showroom didnt make sense. Pack the tables full with complete strangers, no masks needed while seated, no sanitizer, no distancing whatsoever but no dancing. Oh well, it was great to get out anyhow.
David Wilcox just keeps getting better everyone i see him. The opening band was London's own Tell it to Sweeney was very good and very entertaining.
The vessel is slowing down but the engine is firing on all cylinders. I love the quirkiness of David's music. The Two Marshall Amps Front and center and Cranked were absolutely Nuts. Love It. Think I'll go on the Red River with my Canoe and have my own little River Boat Fantasy. Thanks David.
The opening act was fantastic. What a great performer. David Wilcox was also amazing. He completely lived up to all my expectations. Great entertainment.
I was excited to see David Wlcox again. Last time I saw him was New Year's Eve a couple of years ago, after which he was going into a year of song-writing and honing his skills. He didn't play anything new at this concert but his good "old" stuff was bang on! High energy, high intensity, masterful. He's still got it. Started right on time - this is respectful of the audience and very welcome. I like the use of local band members, too.....like Kit Johnson on bass.
The show was tremendous! David is a great guitar player and very entertaining. I was amazed at the sound he was able to get from his guitar. The drummer was excellent as well. The bass player did a great job and he and the drummer did well keeping up with Davids improv. I enjoyed iy so much, it seemed like the show was too short at only 1-1/2 hrs.
