David Spade on Tour
David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.
David Spade Live
A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a comedy performance by David Spade at SAFE Performing Arts Center on June 27. From the moment he stepped on stage, the energy in the room was electric, and it only intensified as the show progressed. David Spade has an incredible ability to engage the audience with relatable humor and sharp wit. His material covered a range of topics, from everyday life to current events, and each joke was delivered with impeccable timing. The performance felt very interactive, as David Spade frequently involved audience members, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. It was clear that he thrived on the energy of the crowd, and this connection made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend catching David Spade live if you have the chance. His unique blend of humor, charisma, and storytelling makes for a delightful evening filled with laughter. I left the show feeling uplifted and entertained. It was worth the very long round-trip drive due to ongoing road construction. Thank you, David, you are the best!
Needs different openers because they both sucked. Spade was awesome though
It was a really good show, I listen to his podcast every week so, I was kinda expecting what he was gonna do but no..he went beyond my expectations, very funny and quick when some things happened in the audience he immediately jumped on that. He had a very good set and definitely worth going to see him
David Spade was amazing! Hope to see you again in Albuquerque.
The act was supposed to start at 8:00pm, but they were 20+ minutes late. The opening acts just weren’t funny. I’ve seen a number of comedians lately and they all have to start off with the old “Breaking Bad, all Albuquerqueans are meth addicts” joke. It’s getting old and worn out and it’s been rubbing me the wrong way when that is how they all start. David Spade did not knock the city, for which I am grateful, and he actually was funny. Good review for him, bad review for the openers, and 3 stars for not being on time.
I really enjoyed the show was funny ! I would reccomend and come back !!! Unfortunately wouldn't say the same about rob Schneider, but David spade is a true comedian !! Love you spade !!!!
David Spade always delivers a great performance, and this was no different. His two opening acts were excellent, as well. The venue is perfect for stand up comedy shows. We aren’t a huge city with a multimillion people population, so we sometimes get passed up by comedians for bigger cities not remotely close. Spade gave a performance consisting of new material that reflects his top tier writing and his unique style of stand up. Two thumbs up.
I was disappointed with his comedy show. It was not very funny at all. We ended up leaving early.
I knew I shouldn’t have watched his Netflix special. Spade used some lines from his special. But I wasn’t there I guess. It just wasn’t great.
Maybe because we all went to ASU in the 80s, maybe because he was an ‘in between act’ with Hinf during Greek Sing, maybe because we watched him on SNL and in all those hilarious movies while we were setting out in life…but David Spade feels like an old friend. He is more subtle now, but the smirk still kills, and we just laughed and laughed last Thursday in Tucson. Highly recommend, and already did to many who went to see him in Phoenix on Friday night - he showed why he has been a comedy force for 30 something years. Thanks man, always good to see you! Will be back!
The opening comedians weren't very funny. David spade we felt was lacking energy and we would have appreciated more croud work and maybe a meet and greet for price we paid to be in front row. When it came time to say bye it was just like k bye. There was alot of dead silence for each comedian even spade. We have been Spade fans our entire lives and were really looking forward to this and felt pretty let down. The funniest moment was probably something that seemed like just improv where he spoke of lighting the hairs that fall off his head on fire as a warning to the ones still on his head. Still love you spade please give our little cities more energy. Also Linda Ronstadt theatre work on your A/C pls our whole backs were soaking wet by the end now i know you're making money there so come on...
Love him! So glad I went to the show, he was awesome! Loved him for years! Hilarious!
Pleasantly surprised with how funny & witty this show was. His last special was mediocre but this had us rolling.
Such a great show! David Spade and both of his openers killed it. Will definitely see him again when I can!
I love David and he did not disappoint. I was unable to attend his show with Dana in Cali because of illness but I was happy he came to Tucson. His openers were good too. Wish there was a meet/greet option though since no photos were allowed ☹️
David was spectacular. I laughed the whole time. It was really hard to tell if his stories really happened or if he made it all up or somewhere in-between. It was well worth my time.
He repeated old comic routines that I’ve seen and heard before that are even on YouTube. ! He needs to always have mostly new material. People follow him. It was as if he thought we never saw him before. Had he Repeated a single joke would be fine . He repeated his old comic routines. This was not good. Additionally, the way he ended was weak. He had a weak , joke suddenly was off the stage. It was deflating and anti climactic. He did not even stick around to see people in the audience standing for him. It was a bad ending and he should work on being very funny right before he leaves and properly leaving the audience. Or at least come back out to thank the audience and connect. I have always loved him but felt it was weak.
Funny at times, but mostly not. Seemed to be mailing it in.
The Factory seems like a really nice place to see a concert, comedian, etc. Not really a bad seat anywhere. I laughed so hard I cried!
