    Rattled those locks

by ObiJuanKenobi on 4/27/16Hollywod Bowl - Hollywood

Once David's new album was released, I prepared myself for the eventual tour. Living in Washington State I held high hopes ;-) he would tour the Pacific Northwest. David's tour was announced but only in three US cities, one of which was Hollywood. I bought tickets anyway. Another show was announced for the same venue and I bought tickets for that show as well. A third show was announced and I sat back and thought, why not and bought ticket to the third and final show in So Cal. We had seen David perform live during the About Face Tour in '84, watched his Remember That Night and Live at Gdansk DVD's and knew he is better now than he was then. We had never been to the Hollywood Bowl before but found it magnificent. The moon was full that night and David played to the sold out show on both nights. The crowd was enthusiastic and loved it. I am glad we saw those two shows because the show at the Forum did not have the same visuals as the Bowl shows. BUT we were not disappointed. For a guy who just turned 70 he appears to still enjoy himself onstage and performing for the crowd. I like how he expresses his views through his music rather than blather about politics like some performers do. The three shows we saw were memorable. Here's is holding higher hopes he tours again. Thanks David and band for a great experience.

    David Gilmour was awesome

by foreverfloydfan on 4/23/16United Center - Chicago

The concert was a perfect mixture of his own music as well as a lot of the old Floyd classics. I've saw Floyd 3 times and I've seen Roger Waters 3 times also, but this was my first time seeing Gilmour and he didn't disappoint at all. I drove almost 600 miles round trip to see it and it was well worth it.

    Gilmour at his best again

by WALLETs on 4/20/16Madison Square Garden - New York

The band played exactly the same songs as the evening before. Most songs were from Pink Floyd time among them my favorite "Fat Old Sun" with brilliant guitar as always

    Gilmour Shines!!!

    by The1Judge on 4/18/16United Center - Chicago

Incredible and stunning. I've waited my entire life to see a David Gilmour/Pink Floyd show. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. The only thing that could be better is if Dave, Roger, and Nick would do "One more Floyd tour for the fans". The sound and stage lights were impeccable. The setlist was great. Feel very fortunate to have seen this show. Thanks for the memories Dave. I will never forget this.

    Still an amazing guitarist

by Mugs4000 on 4/18/16Madison Square Garden - New York

David Gilmour still sounds and plays amazing even at age 70. He hit some Floyd classics and a lot of great stuff off his new and old solo releases.

    David Gilmour was absolutely fabulous!

by Anonymous on 4/18/16Madison Square Garden - New York

This was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. It was amazing to hear David Gilmour on the guitar and the sounds he can make with it. You really get how creative and unique he is when you see him live. The rest of the band was excellent: drummer, bass and saxophone players, as well as the chorus. While my heart is with the old Pink Floyd stuff, David's new stuff is excellent. He keeps on making good music. I would have loved to hear more, but what I did hear was outstanding.

    Unforgettable experience

by ianhh on 4/18/16Radio City Music Hall - New York

Seeing David Gilmour live was one of my life goals, which I thought to be impossible since he never came to South America. Having the opportunity to be in NY for these concerts was something that I never dreamed of. The concert was absolutely beautiful, as well as the venue. The whole process of buying tickets online was also a nice experience. I didn't have any problems whatsoever, everything went smoothly.

    Gilmour Rocks!

by mischief1966 on 4/18/16Madison Square Garden - New York

I don't think there are enough rating stars for Gilmour!! Been listening to Gilmour for over 40 years and my son has been listening since birth lol ...Coming back home for a few days to NYC for a birthday celebration for my 50th and my Son's 25th was just amazing. Gilmour's music, guitar & lyrics, truly speaks to the soul, gives ya chills and many times, brought us to tears! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience, my concert bucket list complete...At 70 years old, Gilmour is an amazing musician and I am so thankful to have experienced his music live. His new tunes were terrific, but his older songs & Pink Floyd tunes rocked the house with everyone singing along, just an amazing experience, never to be forgotten...Marc Brickman's lighting & technical aspects were terrific as always!

    Gilmour Crushes MSG

by Tiniman on 4/17/16Madison Square Garden - New York

Mr. Gilmour delivered a phenomenal show playing both new and old songs from his entire catalogue. Young David has not lost a step and never sounded better on both vocals and guitar. He certainly made the show his own, and appeared to be having a blast onstage. This was billed as a show not to be missed, and David certainly did not disapoint, proving once again he is the most prolific guitar player in the business.

    Classic David Gilmour

by OMEGALucifer on 4/17/16United Center - Chicago

Ten musicians on stage led by David Gilmour, perform a wide selection of the new, the old and the classic. We were sitting stage right completely 90 degrees to the stage, great view, but we really went for the music. A real sonic treat, the whole band were well rehearsed. After all you are seeing a professional with 45 years of history and a catalog of music which is second to none if you are a Pink Floyd fan. David's independent work is laudable, but he really understood that the fans wanted to hear him play a full mix of his career, he did not let us down. I really liked the format of the set list. If you have never had the treat of highly engineered stadium rock concert this is the standard that all others attempt to replicate. Unless you have a fully obstructed seat, there is never a bad seat in the house, sonically or visually.

    David Gilmour was Spectacular

by SeacoastNHGilmourFan on 4/17/16Radio City Music Hall - New York

This show was a dream come true. Never thought I would see David Gilmour live in concert. It was all I hoped for and more! Acoustics were great, his soaring guitar solos were amazing. New songs from Rattle That Lock are excellent, especially Faces of Stone and Today. Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb were as fantastic as anticipated, as were my two absolute favorites, Coming Back to Life and Sorrow. He may be 70 but he plays guitar and sings like he is decades younger. Hope he enjoyed this tour enough to do another one some day down the road! Thank you David!
