AWESOME!!!!!! What a great talent and his band is great, also! One of the best concerts I have ever attended! The venue was intimate and a great setting for David Garrett's showcasing of his amazing gift.

He is extremely talented and his musical choices appeared to everyone. His energy was amazing and he really looked like he and the band where having fun. He played for two hours and interacted with the audience telling some personal fun stories. If you get a chance to see him in concert make the investment.

  • Fabulous!

by MsPhil on 4/9/10House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

I just happened to see David Garrett on KERA TV and the performance schedule at the House of Blues. I didn't know what to expect and it ended up as an awesome experience. I'm very glad we went to see his concert. Apparently, this is his last for the 2010 tour! He should do it more often in Dallas. From classical to contemporary, everything's perfect! Highly recommended to music lovers of any gendre! All of the performances are fabulous! From the Pirates of the Caribbean, Smooth Criminal, Duelling Banjos, The Flight of the BumbleBee, etc - a real virtuoso violinist!

  • David Garrett Needs Bigger Venue!

by Armenii on 4/8/10Parker Playhouse - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

This guys is an incredible violinist and phenominal performer! Even though Parker Playhouse was sold out, he should have been sold out at the Broward Center! South Florida needs to wake up to this talent and enjoy him the next time he's in town. We feel like he's the best kept secret but he shouldn't be a secret!!

  • Amazing Experience!

by SarahEMc on 4/8/10Parker Playhouse - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Rarely have I been so completely moved by a performer. I have been a fan since seeing David on a weekend Sunday show and then downloading his CD and taping his PBS special. Bought two tickets and brought my 13 year old daughter who was as wowed and impressed as I was by this virtuoso. He is talented, gracious, handsome and manages to make the violin ROCK! Hope to see him again and again live!

Park West is a small intimate venue and was ideal for David Garrett. You had a great view from every seat. He is an amazing violinist.

I was so excited to see Mr. Garrett. I am a dance teacher and I am using one of his pieces for my dance routine, so I was really looking forward to this night with my husband. Unfortunately, he got sick last minute and I couldn't find anyone to go. I went by myself (which is very unlike me to do) and I am so glad that I did. I felt invigorated sitting there listening to him play. I hope he comes back soon!

David Garrett is amazing musician, I would go to his concert again and again, can't wait for him to come back with any new program. I wish he performed at Universities locations so young people could attend and enjoy and discover.

  • Garrett is GARREAT!!!!!

by MIimi on 3/27/10Scottish Rite Auditorium - CollingswoodRating: 4 out of 5

From the moment the concert started to the encore, David Garrett was 'electric' onstage. He has a way of transforming the extreme ends of music (i.e. classical and rock) into something that everyone can enjoy. My 19 year-old neice and my 84 year-old mother loved the performance. David's band is also extremely talented. The lead guitarist and drummer had a few 'spotlight' moments to showcase their talents. WOW, Garrett really surrounds himself with talent that is on par with his own phenominal talent!

The show was great. David Garrett is definitely a rising star. His band was professional too. Garrett gave all of his heart and soul to the public. If you want to listen to a beautiful mix of pop-classical-rock music of the violinist - this concert is for you!
