  • The amazing David Garrett

by Julia on 11/18/25Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

David Garrett is an amazing violinist and composer. He finally came to Boston after at least ten years. The concert was great, as all of his performances! I wish he comes more often since live concert is the best!

  • David Garrett at the Boston Orpheum Theater

by Justrambling on 11/18/25Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

When we arrived at the theatre, they scanned our Balcony seat tickets and the little machine beeped. The lady told us we were marked for upgraded tickets! We were moved to the Orchestra section, which is basically on the floor, in the center so we were looking at the center of the stage. It was a GREAT surprise for us to be able to sit closer and on the floor instead of in the balcony. David Garrett is an AMAZING violinist. His compositions of modern music were fantastic and made us want to get up and dance through the whole concert. He made a new fan out of my friend who I had convinced to go with me to this concert. She had never heard of him before and she said he was fantastic and that she could see his love and passion for music in his face and his joyful demeanor. I agree with her. We ended leaving the concert feeling very happy, upbeat, and full of joy. It was hard to settle down afterwards because we felt so good afterwards. We were not disappointed at all. This concert was everything I expected and more! I would definitely recommend his concert to everyone I know.

The show was incredible on so many levels. The talent was extraordinary, I found the performance breathtaking. Interactions with the audience also made it a lot of fun. I would love more opportunities to see these performances in the US. Love, love , love David Garrett!

  • Elegant and electrifying

by SHay on 11/18/25Orpheum Theatre presented by Citizens - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I am just so happy that I was able to see David play his first concert in NYC and now again in Boston for the 2025 USA tour!!! I wrote about how amazing his NYC concert was as I experienced with my 15 year old daughter. Then on a whim booked tickets to return to see him again just a few nights later at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston for my birthday - and I am SO glad I did! This theater is just so elegant and beautiful, and David’s performance there was quite a different feel than just the few days before in NYC… yet just absolutely electric as is his nature of performance and his personality shines! His ability to transform and transcend modern songs into strings rock composition is just so creative and unique with the band. It’s just incredible to listen to and visually see him in action with the band , on stage. There is no one like him anywhere!!! I am so grateful that he finally returned to North America after 10 years, and that I had the opportunity to see him twice while he was here this time! The show was just phenomenal. I sat next to a young boy violinist who was just so inspired by David’s art, as is my daughter who has been playing for 10 years with David who connects with youth to really allow the avenue of creativity and understanding of both classical training with modern contemporary techniques. In NYC he spoke so beautifully about his story , and personal advice and followed with the most beautifully emotional performance of Welcome to the Black Parade… (chills)! One of the most memorable and beautiful stage performances I’ve seen. Then in Boston he humbly walked through the audience to allow us to see him up close and he even shook hands with people during the performance! The highlight of the Boston concert for me was David playing Titanium standing directly in front of me as he paused at my seat, while he was playing walking through the theater! I felt so special, and what a memory for my birthday! He really appreciates the audience and shows it, and the energy is mutually shared between one another! Thank you David and band for sharing your art with us here in the USA and I hope you will continue to return to us in the future soon!

Besides being a talented violinist, he played a variety of songs and interacted a lot with the audience. He walked the aisles while playing. Got some awesome pictures.

  • Amazing performance by very talanted group of musicians!

by Tatiana on 11/16/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

David Garrett is a fantastic violinist and performer! The Violin is his heart and soul. He does not play, he lives inside of this amazing music world he creates with the Stradivari work of art... I often enjoy listening to him playing on You-tube channel and my favorite pieces are by Niccolo Paganini (La Campanella, Caprices, Concerts- I love all of them), Chardash by Vittorio Monti along with many other Great Classical Compositions. Frankly, I cannot even do anything while listening to David's play- I just have to sit and immerse in his world... During his show David said that Classical music is a staple of the music. It is very true and I think during these times of havoc in all aspects of our lives, it gives peace, hope and strength to our souls. I only wish David would play a bit more of the true classical compositions. Maybe 30 % of the show? I know the younger crowd would appreciate Taylor Swift piece (I did too!), but I want all of us feel the true depths and beauty of the Classics David can give us. I would like to give a special "Thank you"to the wonderful group of the musicians performed along with David. All of them make each other shine! I am very fortunate to be able to attend this concert and looking forward to many more!

  • A Concert Filled With Joy

by Susan T. on 11/16/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

If you EVER have the chance to see David Garrett perform, do not miss him. Garrett is a classically-trained violinist who has crossed over into different genres of music. I attended his Millennium concert with a friend who was unfamiliar with Garrett, and she loved the concert. Garrett’s talent and joy of playing rubs off on the audience, with many on their feet and standing in the aisles near the stage. The music selections ranged from updated classics to twists on hits by Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Miley Cyrus. The band was also good, and Garrett’s violin added a richness to those familiar tunes. We were part of a happy, joy-filled audience.

  • Great performance!

  • Amazing show

by Fan from Texas on 11/16/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

David Garrett’s show was amazing! His mastery of the violin is certainly apparent but beyond that, he engages with the audience, making the night beyond special for everyone attending. His interpretation of the songs presented brings them to life so much more than expected. My husband and I traveled far to see the show and David surpassed all of our expectations! I hope he returns to the States before too long. We will definitely find a way to see him again!!

I had a VIP front row ticket, had a great time. Would have liked to get a real paper ticket to keep as a memory of event.

  • David Garrett: The Simple Magic of Chicago!

by Nisia Andrade on 11/16/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

David Garrett: The Simple Magic of Chicago I've been to many David Garrett & Band concerts – in Brazil, Germany, the North Sea – but none of them were as simple and music-focused as this one in Chicago. It perfectly matched the city: "clean". A beautiful and intimate theater, a small stage, no screen, no lighting effects. Only David, his musicians, the music, and the art shared that space. Even the first row of spectators was so close to the stage that it seemed like all you had to do was stretch out your arm to touch him. And David was radiant. The joy and happiness are so evident in him that you want to steal some of it for yourself! What a moment! David Garrett, charismatic and happy with his violin and his music on stage, is enough to enchant any audience. As always, David knew how to choose his songs with enviable insight: cheerful, danceable songs that shook us and made David jump on stage with contagious energy... it made you want to get up and jump too. Even the quieter songs emanated such an immersive sonic beauty that only the arrangements of this incredible violinist are capable of capturing. And, of course, his trademark of strolling through the audience was there, leaving many fans ecstatic with his presence so close, with the conquest of a selfie and hearing his baritone voice tell a story sitting on the edge of the stairs. David being David! But the magic always ends at "midnight,"and David and his violin were gone, leaving a trail of "I want so much more"for everyone who was there! With his hair falling apart, his bow disintegrating, David enchanted using sounds and silences, conquered hearts with potions of charm and sympathy, and disappeared from sight, leaving the feeling of a dream that should never end! It was magical! Ah... this magic was only possible because David has the company of exceptional musicians like Franck, John, Bodi, and Vince!

  • David Garrett delivered on a promise of excellence

by Ricky on 11/13/25Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was a delightful and exhilarating evening. The energy was buzzing at the venue. The music was fabulous and the performers were at their finest. I've waited too long to see David Garrett play in person but it was worth it. His playing is a delight for the senses, as watching his joy in the music is as much fun as the sound itself. Truly a thing of joy. I hope to see him in concert again. Definitely a wonderful evening
