David and his band were amazing! They all were having fun, the music was great, the political banter was minimal and direct. I hope I can be as active in my late 70's surrounded by friends and family.
A great, very emotional concert. Uptown Theater was a perfect place for this show.
David Crosby and his band were really great! He played a solid two hour set with songs from all stages of his career. His backup band were all exceptional players. David Crosby has redeemed himself. He was in great voice, looked really happy and healthy and emitted nothing but good vibes from the stage. I've seen David about 12 times and this was his best performance since his "glory days" with CSNY! Congratulations David, your redemption is inspiring!
You can call this show David Crosby and friends or friends and David Crosby. All of the musicians and musical creators on the stage are standalone talents in their own right. The staff at the Uptown Napa Theater are more than accommodating for every patron need and goal. The staffs smiles and joyful spirits set the stage and a positive tone before the show even begins. The only thing I would change is to add performances at this venue for a range of entertainment... more than just a few days a month. The performers booked at the City Winery Napa we're mostly Geniuses. Unfortunately that venue closed a few years ago because of lack of business or perhaps marketing.
The second half of the show was fantastic. But the first half was invisible to me and my wife who were in Row B 6-8 where the guitar players guitar equipment was way to far forward on the stage to allow us to see anything but a black drape over his guitar rack. He could have easily positioned himself two feet backward and those of us in that row could have seen the show. Clearly stage manager wasn't working with the house manager to let them know the seats were sold. We asked to be re-seated but were told it was sold out. Also a problem as they should hold a couple spares. At intermission my wife asked we were given folding chairs where handicapped people were sitting. For my wife's 61st birthday this stressed us out for no reason. Guess better luck next time. Uptown needs to get is act together,

Excellent show! David Crosby showed remarkable energy and his ensemble of musicians are World Class. Not only did he satisfy the crowd with the old favorites, but showed his writing chops with his new material. The restored Uptown Theater is the perfect vintage and intimate venue for the show.
Having seen David with his other group last year, I knew this would be a great concert. I was not ready for how wonderful he and his Lighthouse Band were. Excellent set list with both new music and old favorites. Every musician in the group was pitch perfect. We love the Neptune, even without air conditioning! Hopefully David will be back next year.
David Crosby was great! The band was great! It was hard to here their voices clearly. The air conditioner was not working so, it was really comfortable in the Neptune Theatre

I loved the concert and the venue. I’m a long time fan, however I was hoping to hear more of his newer stuff, and less of the 40+ year old crowd favorites. Still, he and his group were tight and exciting, and it was a fun night.
We went to the Crosby and Friends show thinking we'd hear a few old tunes from the C,S,N&Y days and maybe the Byrds. Sure, there were a few tunes from then but the songs that the band played from now- those were the ones that really rocked! The band is tight, Crosby's voice is great and the drummer is beyond belief- he's that good!
His voice is almost the same. Well preserved. The lead guitar guy is phenomenal!!! Incredible!!
Event was on time, comfortable, excellent sound, classic performances by all members of his group. David Crosby has a lot to give live.
What an amazing concert! David Crosby has the energy and charisma of someone half his age, and the band played flawlessly. A very uplifting, energizing experience, highly recommended!
Crosby and band were really great. Fantastic musicians and singers. After watching and listening to the live CSN 2012 video and album, I wasn't very optimistic about this show going in. From the first few seconds of the opening song, "In My Dreams," it was clear that we were in for a treat. Great, great show. Sounded so much better than CSN or CSNY.
The Neptune Theater was the Perfect venue, sound system perfect, audience "Alive" and engaged! Thank You David for staying in the game and sharing your talent and all of your band members dedication to providing us with incredible music, lyrics, anecdotes, and energy. Go and buy tickets and be prepared have the time of your life!! It was magical.
Great combination of old and new; CSN, CPR and David Crosby & Friends. Incredibly talented, focused group of musicians. Small venue but lack of air conditioning was a killer.

The Neptune theater is a surprisingly good venue. Crosby had a great night; great stories and his voice held up nicely. He's put together a group of friends\musicians that can flat out bring it.
