One of the hardest-working performers on the international pop scene, the Spanish singer, songwriter and actor David Bisbal became a touring dynamo in 2002 with the release of his multiplatinum debut, Corazón Latino. Each of his first six albums of flamenco-flavored dance-pop and romantic balladry hit the top of Spain's charts, resulting in more than six million album sales. His chart-topping singles include "Ave Maria," "Bulería," "Torre de Babel" (Tower of Babel), "Esclavo de Sus Besos" (Enslaved by Your Kisses) and "Diez Mil Maneras" (Ten Thousand Ways). Bisbal, who seems to tour almost constantly, exudes enthusiasm and discipline onstage. He has documented his colorfully lit and elaborately choreographed live shows on five DVDs, including 2015's Tú y Yo en Vivo.
David Bisbal Background
The Spanish pop sensation was born in 1979 in Almería, Spain. The Andalusian city is famous for its flamenco tradition, and Bisbal's father was both a professional boxer and part of a flamenco trio. After performing in the popular regional group Orchestra Expressions, Bisbal joined the debut season of the interactive reality-TV show Operación Triunfo. Bisbal's career took off in 2003 after the release of his debut album Corazón Latino ("Latin Heart"), which introduced the world to his flamenco-flavored dance tracks and amorous balladry. It sold more than three million copies and earned Bisbal the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist.
Bisbal acknowledges both his Spanish and Latin American listeners by fluctuating between Castilian and Latin American pronunciations in his singing. But the screaming guitars he brought to the fore on 2006's Premonición marked his status as a truly global artist to be reckoned with. Bisbal completed his transition from reality-TV star to mature artist with Sin Mirar Atrás ("Without Looking Back"), and he shuffled his deck once again on 2014's Tú y Yo ("You and I") with tracks nodding to electronic dance music, cumbia, jazz and '80s rock grooves. Bisbal came full circle in 2020 with En Tus Planes ("In Your Plans"). About the flamenco-grooving title track he told El País, "I dreamed that the first time I sang it people would be able to accompany me on the chorus, and that's how it was."

by Jay on 10/3/21The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami BeachWhile the concert was great, as expected from Bisbal,the entire process from valet parking to the entrance, from the self appointed "Gestapo Stapolizei",was really very unmindful and disrespectful to the paying customer.Don`t they realize that they have this gig because we`re willing to pay not just for the tickets but also for the ever going up prices of valet parking and prices at the concession stands. To provide some details,the valet attendant informed my wife that she could not do in with her 10x10 purse,when she questioned this something out of a surreal movie happenned,that attendant ripped the parking tickets from my hand and said"if you don`t leave the purse car i will not park your car". At that point one of the entrttes approached us and said "if you place the contents of your purse in a plastic ziploc bac we let you in",at that point another attendant approached and said,"No you cannot bring it in",at which point almost a fight took place between the 2 attendants. Finally they let us park and procceeded to go by the metal detector making my wife hold the empty purse and the ziploc bag with the contents over her head. Mindles to say that the job of this metal detector is to detect metal,something that could have been done without the aggravation as nobody really cared to check such contents,visually,inside the ziploc bag. Once inside everything went fine,attendants did what they are paid to do:"Help attendees". The concession stands were well stocked with drinks,the same was not true for the single food concession;however,customer service was as expected,good. I hope this gets to someone who can do something about it.

His voice was on point and his band was superb. We are pleasantly surprised at how talented and lively he was live. The staff at the event was a different story.

David was spectacular! He sounded perfect, looked incredible and gave an outstanding performance!!! The venue was very nice, though I was so disappointed that they didn’t have a merchandise table! Very upsetting, but loved his energy & heartfelt love for his fans.

He has given concerts in the Royal Albert Hall in London, El Teatro Real de Madrid and the Carnegie Hall in the USA. The best concert I had seen in many years.

Two hours without stopping or loose the energy. Great time. Thank you Bisbal. After the show they were playing music in the lobby, which make the evening complete.

The experience is totally different from a concert in an arena. From now on, I only want to attend concerts in smaller venues with this kind of setting. Great experience!
