David Bisbal in Concert

David Bisbal on Tour

One of the hardest-working performers on the international pop scene, the Spanish singer, songwriter and actor David Bisbal became a touring dynamo in 2002 with the release of his multiplatinum debut, Corazón Latino. Each of his first six albums of flamenco-flavored dance-pop and romantic balladry hit the top of Spain's charts, resulting in more than six million album sales. His chart-topping singles include "Ave Maria," "Bulería," "Torre de Babel" (Tower of Babel), "Esclavo de Sus Besos" (Enslaved by Your Kisses) and "Diez Mil Maneras" (Ten Thousand Ways). Bisbal, who seems to tour almost constantly, exudes enthusiasm and discipline onstage. He has documented his colorfully lit and elaborately choreographed live shows on five DVDs, including 2015's Tú y Yo en Vivo.

David Bisbal Background

The Spanish pop sensation was born in 1979 in Almería, Spain. The Andalusian city is famous for its flamenco tradition, and Bisbal's father was both a professional boxer and part of a flamenco trio. After performing in the popular regional group Orchestra Expressions, Bisbal joined the debut season of the interactive reality-TV show Operación Triunfo. Bisbal's career took off in 2003 after the release of his debut album Corazón Latino ("Latin Heart"), which introduced the world to his flamenco-flavored dance tracks and amorous balladry. It sold more than three million copies and earned Bisbal the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist.

Bisbal acknowledges both his Spanish and Latin American listeners by fluctuating between Castilian and Latin American pronunciations in his singing. But the screaming guitars he brought to the fore on 2006's Premonición marked his status as a truly global artist to be reckoned with. Bisbal completed his transition from reality-TV star to mature artist with Sin Mirar Atrás ("Without Looking Back"), and he shuffled his deck once again on 2014's Tú y Yo ("You and I") with tracks nodding to electronic dance music, cumbia, jazz and '80s rock grooves. Bisbal came full circle in 2020 with En Tus Planes ("In Your Plans"). About the flamenco-grooving title track he told El País, "I dreamed that the first time I sang it people would be able to accompany me on the chorus, and that's how it was."

    not good

by Unhappy customer on 10/19/21The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

I was not happy about the decisions they took at the Plaza Theatre at El Paso, TX. They decided to close the section that I had bought my tickets at and moved us to the bottom section towards the back of the theatre. My tickets were for the front row in the second level and that's where I like to seat when I go to the Theatre. The seats they gave us were so bad, we couldn't see anything once the concert started because the people in front of us decided to stand up so they completely blocked our view. I will think twice before I ever purchase tickets for that theatre again.

Concert was on time, he is amazing! Fun, dances, sings beautiful as he looks. Totally worth it. The music was a little to loud and some time I could not hear his voice. Definitely, I will go to his concert again.

    Sound needs improvement

by CristinaB on 10/6/21Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

The band was fantastic and the venue perfect. We wished the sound was better as the melody was covering the voice at times. Perhaps be more careful when adjusting the vocal mic to balance it with the instruments. By the way, it would have been nice to have the merchandise table. Overall, my experience with the band was memorable. Great vibes and I loved the small venue.

David Bisbal Concert at Buckhead Theater

    by Mario1968 on 10/6/21Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

The performance from David was great, the only problem was that all the instruments were more lauded than the singer. The sound of the music was laud and the volumen of the microphone was a little low and too much echo. But he is a great singer.

    An evening with David Bisbal

by AliMir on 10/4/21The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

David Bisbal is an amazing performer with a beautiful voice and energetic stage presence. It was disappointing that the sound acoustics in the theater were so bad that one could not enjoy and appreciate his great voice. Additionally, it was extremely upsetting that people arrived at the theater late (even an hour after the show had started) . This made it very distracting for those of us who were there on time to fully enjoy the show. Even though the crowd was responsive to the concert, there was no discipline in the theater to be able to really enjoy the performance. Overall great performance by the artist. The venue was a disaster.

David Bisbal sound problems Filmore Miami Beach 9/30/21

by Acebal74 on 10/4/21The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

David Bisbal in Miami was the worst concert experience I've had in a long time. I felt sorry for an incredible artist who was singing at the top of his lungs and had great energy, however, the sound mixing was terrible and you could not hear his voice above the muffled sounds of the band. Moreover, I guess to make the place look fuller, folks were being offered better seats and 45 minutes into the show there were still people trying to find their new seats blocking our view. We left and talked to the manager for the Filmore who told us to ask LiveNation for a refund. There's no place to do so on the site of course, so thank you for the opportunity to review here. I was able to find the same concert from Almeria on YouTube for free! So at least I was able to see part of that! So much for trying to see an artist live after almost 2 years of not going to a concert!! Que pena con el artista!

    Fair

by Dany on 10/3/21The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater - Miami Beach

Bisbal was great of course, full of energy and great performance. However Sound was not good. The orchestra volume and sound overwhelmed David Bisbal’ beautiful voice. The theater very messy, people coming and going, valet parking super long wait.
