After years of dazzling audiences with his radiant personality and phenomenal voice--a journey that's included turning out multiple platinum-selling hits, achieving global acclaim as a captivating live performer, and emerging as an undeniable fixture on the pop-culture scene--the Miami-born singer/songwriter experienced a major personal transformation that radically altered his identity as an artist. As shown in his singles "Creme Brulee" and "Hell Together," Archuleta has dramatically expanded the landscape of his songwriting and devoted himself to making pop music with equal parts uncompromising emotion and exhilarating impact.

  • David Archuleta was amazing!!!

by Zebralee on 3/15/16Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

David A. was so energetic on stage...he sang beautifully. What a voice!! I liked that he spoke to the audience letting us know a little bit about himself. His voice was strong, clear and NEVER lost it's greatness. A true professional!! He has a maturity in his songwriting and delivery of a song. Sings with feeling; as a storyteller.

  • Wonderful, but sound was unbalanced

by Nampamom on 3/14/16Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 4 out of 5

David is amazing, of course, but either his mic needs to be turned up or the guitar amps need to be turned down. It was way off balance, causing David to barely be heard! It seems so simple...something a sound manager could easily remedy, but yet the guitars were blaring and the person we came to see we could barely hear! The show overall was excellent though. His songs were amazing and there is no one with a better voice!!!

  • Amazing!

by Lovn on 3/14/16Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

We enjoyed David's performance immensely! David is an incredibly talented singer and has a powerful message for all our youth and all of us. He is real, sharing his heart about the challenges of show-biz/life and upholding your standards in a world that is tearing them down at every turn. It was encouraging to see that there really is a role model in the music industry I would want my children and grandchildren is listen to and see. I wish David all the success he deserves! Thank-you David!

I had the opportunity to take all my daughters ranging in age from 19-8 years old. This event was packed with great music sung by unbelievable talent. We all walked away glad we were able to be there and even greater fans than before. We hope to have another opportunity in the future to support this amazing entertainer.

  • David Archuleta is the Best!!!

by iteachkidz22 on 3/14/16Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

The David Archuleta concert Friday night in Boise was so much fun! David is the best live singer around. He has this incredible talent of singing each lyric with such emotion. He is also very entertaining and quite humurous when telling heart-felt, inspiring stories about his music and life. David had a great audience with a lot of energy which only enhanced the whole experience. You could tell everyone was really enjoying themselves. To be honest, I have seen David many times in concert, and he never disappoints!

  • Absolutely unforgettable and moving!

by CalaLily on 12/30/11Abravanel Hall - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

The first part of the concert was for the younger, pop crowd and was "okay." I thought the band was mixed too loud (especially the drums.) At intermission, I didn't realize the INCREDIBLE TREAT we were in for during the second half! During intermission, the Lyceum Philharmonic Orchestra came out and the songs David did with them were ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! There was a depth of musical focus, a maturity of sound, and pure beauty that was a sheer delight to listen to. The choices of songs couldn't have been better, each with a fresh, new arrangement. David's voice was awe inspiring and filled each of us will emotion. His voice is beautiful! His stirring renditions of "Ave Maria," Silent Night," and "O Holy Night," were among my favorites I've ever heard. "Pat a Pan" and Riu Riu Chiu" were also enjoyable and entertaining. We bought David's Christmas CD and have listened to it every single day since the concert and enjoy it every time! This is a recording we will never tire of. David is a true vocalist and we hope to hear much more from him in the future.

  • Best Christmas Music Show I've Ever Seen

by SevyRhino on 12/24/11Sherman Theater - StroudsburgRating: 5 out of 5

I have been going to concerts and plays of all sorts for over 30 years. I can truly say that this young man has the best pure voice of anyone that I've ever heard. His performance of many classic Christmas songs was simply amazing. Highly recommended.

  • Fabulous vocals

by RoseyfromCali on 12/21/11Abravanel Hall - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

David was amazing, clear, crisp vocals with perfect pitch! He sings with power and emotion. Can't believe Cook beat him!!! Amazed how every song was beautifully arranged and sounded just like the studio recordings. That does not happen often in a live concert. Loved it, worth every penny!!

  • Amazing Archuleta

by 4always on 12/21/11City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This is our 3rd year at the Grove in Anaheim to see David Archuleta...my daughter's and my annual Christmas treat! As we have come to count on, David was amazing! Every word clear, the feelings of what he sings shines through. He draws the audience in and that is why we continue to share that evening with him. Always such a good concert & we leave so "on top of the world", because he give his all! We will be sad not to see him next year with his decision to pursue his mission of faith thru his church and dedication to the path he believes God has put him on. We wish him the best of luck with that & know he is doing it for his personal reasons which we can respect. We will anxiously look forward to his return to his singing career when he has completed that part of his life. Thank you David and God bless you!

  • Magical night!!!

by Jensters on 12/21/11Abravanel Hall - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

I was extremely impressed with how well planned out the show was and the work that must have gone into getting an orchestra, choirs and guest performers to be there as well. I am a musician myself and understand that even a small performance can be a lot of work. David has such a pure sounding voice and he looks like he is having the time of his life singing and performing. As a mother of an 18 year old daughter, I would love to take him home and keep him forever:) It was truly magical to be there with my daughter and experience the show. He is my favorite singer now and always!!!
