About

Since first stepping into the pop spotlight at age 17, David Archuleta has embodied the kind of genuine star power that can't be manufactured. After years of dazzling audiences with his radiant personality and phenomenal voice--a journey that's included turning out multiple platinum-selling hits, achieving global acclaim as a captivating live performer, and emerging as an undeniable fixture on the pop-culture scene--the Miami-born singer/songwriter experienced a major personal transformation that radically altered his identity as an artist. As shown in his singles "Creme Brulee" and "Hell Together," Archuleta has dramatically expanded the landscape of his songwriting and devoted himself to making pop music with equal parts uncompromising emotion and exhilarating impact.

David is one of the best musical talents out there. His selection of songs for the performance were upbeat, entertaining, and even inspiring. His support band members were also very talented. We saw his show last year, this year, and if he returns to Grand Junction next year we will be there! One of the best performances you will find out there!

  • Beautiful Voice

by Bruce on 11/28/19Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

David has a beautiful voice. At times there was too much base from the keyboard or electric guitar that covered it up. The best songs were him singing and accompanied only by the acoustic guitar or where he played the keyboard alone and sang. Great voice don’t cover it up. His personal honestly was refreshing. Come back next year.

David was so full of energy, and I wanted to get up and dance. His notes are a pure joy to hear. I absolutely loved when he went to his high register, a lot. He also shared very tender thoughts and feelings with the audience, which helped to connect with him. I also loved the band members, who were superb! Completely enjoyable evening. Love the Birchmere.

  • Humble Heart, Chords of Strength!!!!

by Gloria Klemencic on 3/30/19Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

David Archuleta does not disappoint. WOW!! He is the most humble man, with an Amazing voice. Every song,,, is "candy to the ears". The smiles on the faces, of everyone there, as they bopped their heads to the beat of the music... living proof that everyone was enjoying themselves. David gathers fans that cross every generation. His music inspires, uplifts and has the crowd singing along. One senior gentleman, told David he is Addicted to "Glorious" as he listens to it over and over. When David sang that, I noticed tears of Joy, steaming done that fan's face. Made me cry, too. Beautiful!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE bring David back for Christmas!!!! Thank You. <3

  • Excellent Performance

by Rosy on 3/30/19Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

David Archuleta is an excellent performer. He works the crowds and everyone was (chair) dancing and singing along. He is also humble and sweet, which is so refreshing. The main reason I went to see him was to hear his incredible voice in person, and he didn't disappoint.

David was amazing. Not only is he talented but his personality and spirit shines! David connected with his audience and even took time to come into the audience to hug a blind woman who was unable to approach the stage. David spoke of life lessons in between his songs. His voice is pure and sweet. Thank you David!

I was in college back in 2008, when I first discovered David Archuleta. I was in my dorm room, American Idol was on, I turned around looked at my TV, in shock at his voice. It was the most beautiful sound I ever heard. Ever since that day I was a huge fan. I fell in love with David on Idol, and since then I was in love. No matter where I go, I tell everyone he is my favorite vocalist. I last saw him in concert in 2009 with Demi Lovato, When I got the notification he was coming to town this year 2018, I immediately purchased tickets. What I love most of all is his voice. The show was amazing, he performed for nearly two hours. He did most songs from his latest album Postcards In The Sky, and few hits from the first and second album. That voice is still incredible. He stated he was slightly sick, but I could not tell. It was a breath of fresh air to see him perform again after all these years! After the show, he took time to shake everyone's hand. Such a nice man, he also gave many encouraging words during the show. I love him and would see him again. Birchmere is a nice venue!

  • David in Spokane

by nexttonormal on 6/16/17Bing Crosby Theater - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

I have been a fan of David since he competed on American Idol but had never seen him in concert until now. He's the real deal. He has a very awkard and shy stage persona but it actually worked to endear him to the audience. And those vocals! His voice is crystal clear and he has complete control of his instrument. He performed some new songs off his soon to be released EP as well as some covers which included his AI audition song "Heaven." That song title pretty much sums up the concert.

  • Even better than before...

by cryssa on 3/19/16Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 4 out of 5

David Archuleta's concert was amazing! & Gracie was wonderful too. The only thing that could have been better was if they had turned the microphones down on the guitars and other instruments just a tad. I think that maybe they are not used to playing in venues with such fabulous acoustics and didn't adjust things accordingly. It made both David and Gracie need to shout to be heard over the music and some of the enunciation of words was lost. We LOVED that David shared the reason he chose to sing the songs he did! It made the songs meaningful in a whole new way. We loved hearing about his sisters and his love for them and his family. His personality and his values shone through in all that he sang and in his conversations with the audience. His voice has changed and mellowed for the better. He was fabulous!
