DAVE KOZ IN CONCERT:
When Dave Koz takes the stage, all is quiet as the audience intently listens to every pure note from the seasoned saxophonist. Playing both tenor and alto sax, his fingers glide across the instrument with an ease that can't be matched. Whether he's performing chart-topping hits like "Life In the Fast Lane" and "Put the Top Down" or launching into an epic solo, Koz's grace on the woodwind instrument is exceptional, full of trills, thrills, and spontaneity during his hit-filled set lists. Dave Koz returns to the stage in 2014 for his upcoming Summer Horns tour as well as a string of highly anticipated shows with Barry Manilow.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Starting out in his high school's jazz band, Dave Koz fell in love with the saxophone early on, deciding to pursue music full time after graduating from college. He landed on tour with Bobby Caldwell not long after and served as a studio musician in the '80s before launching his breakout solo career. Since then, Koz has released 15 studio albums — eight of which have reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Jazz chart — and four No. 1 jazz singles. Not only is the nine-time Grammy nominee a sensational saxophonist, but he's also a radio personality, television host, and philanthropist, serving as a Global Ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Koz will delight fans with his smooth jazz sounds on his upcoming tour dates.

This concert topped all of the Dave Koz Christmas shows that I've seen! There was so much talent on the stage, it was unbelievable! I couldn't sit in my seat any longer when they played Grazing in the Grass!! An evening to remember!
This show gets better and better every year! Dave looks so good as a "Silver Fox". His co-stars were wonderful! Who knew Rick Braun could sing so great? I could have stayed all night!
This was my second time seeing a Koz Christmas show. Just as good as the year before. I'll well go next year. D. Benoit, R. Braun, P. White and S. Albright all work very well together. It is Koz show, and he is the man.
I love Dave Koz's Christmas show. I starting going in Florida many years ago and since moving to Michigan, now I'm going here for the last 2 years. Dave really gets everyone in the Christmas spirit. This is always a great show and I highly recommend this for people of all ages.

Each year I think this show can’t get better and every year it does. The music was fantastic and the energy and comradery between these 4 was so infectious. We hated to see the show end.
We've been to other Dave Koz & Friends shows and they are all great. But this one, with the original group back together, and with the choice of music, the length of the show (longer than we expected), and the energy they brought -- This has to be the best one yet. Totally awesome music. Great show!
This is my third year attending Dave Koz at The Palace Theatre and it was amazing, as always. The minute I walked in the door the staff was friendly and ready to help. The concert itself, we’ll let’s just say, I can’t wait until next year!!
Incredible! After 18 straight years of attending this show, it is difficult to say whether this was the best one yet, but certainly it was top three!
This concert with Dave Koz and friends, was an absolute see. The magic generated with Dave, and his friends was a pure delight and the Palace theater was the perfect venue. Everyone should see this show at least once, or maybe twice.

Dave Koz (and friends :) ) along with Peter White, David Benoit, Selina Albright and Rick Braun were authentic and genuine in their performance. They are down to earth people and made you feel right at home. Their humor brightened up the venue and drew you into a warm festive atmosphere. Really brought life to the holiday season. Thank you. Dave Koz & Friends 20th Anniversary Christmas show was the best one ever! The four artists performed a variety of Christmas songs together as well as played a medley of other hits and their own signature songs. Also introduced singer with the voice of an angel who played with them. Great performances by all!!!
Dave Koz always gives his all in the performances we have seen. This year’s show at the Sound Board was THE BEST ever. He and his fellow performers showed so much talent and enthusiasm, you couldn’t help but enjoy every minute.
Such talent and friendship between the performers. You can really see they were genuinely having a great time. Rick was amazing and funny, Peter was calm and cool, David just goes about his biz (I love Kei's Song), Selina was a clear, crisp voice, the backing band was solid and of course, Dave is the maestro!! The CD is well worth buying and we have listened in the car every day since. Come back again next year, please!!
It was a great experience! I went to the Dave Koz Christmas a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, so I decided to go again. My guests enjoyed it , though they aren't jazz fans. I would recommend this show to all who love Christmas music. Rick Braun played superbly.
