I loved it! The venue was great and I always love seeing Dave Attell.
Show was only scheduled for about 2 hours but the show was actually over 3 hours. Was great from start to finish, even the opening act was awesome.
Was told to move seats for other people who bought tickets separately but wanted to sit together. Comics were not as funny as they usually are. They were doing too much crowd work for how big the theater was. People kept getting up from back rows so they could charge the stage and hopefully picked to go on stage. Wish I didn’t pay almost $150 for two tickets as it was a waste of my Friday night.
Just watching these two legends of comedy work off each other was worth the price. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a good time.
Dave Attell has an extremely quick turn around times for his jokes which makes the laughing endless
Majestic theater was great. The usher were very helpful. The opening act was as good as the main act.
The guys were on fire, it was an amazing night with a great audience. Dave and Jeff are always top notch comedians.
Loved the show. Well worth the money for the tickets. One of the best shows I have seen in years.
Had an amazing night watching these two legends. It was incredible that they actually took the time to meet and take photos with fans. Would absolutely see again.
I still love dave, but i was disappointed to see his act hasnt evolved much since i last saw him in 2005..same kind of analogies and drinking jokes. I did have some laughs, but his set was not nearly as tight as the 'Skanks for the Memories' days.
Dave was a great comedian to see live. This is my second time seeing him. His opener was awesome! Loved the show and can't wait to see him again.
Love when a comedian gives me belly laughs! Dave was awesome!
Laughed from start to finish...including the opener Mike Finnoia
The show was small and awesome. Great roasts on everyone in sight and the material was fresh and on point.
My girlfriend and I were in Portland, Maine for the weekend to celebrate both of our birthdays. Dave is someone I have been familiar with particularly b/c of his show, Insomniac. We were both looking forward to this "date night", but the theater had no air conditioning which resulted in it being very uncomfortably hot in the venue. Each of the comedians even made mention of it b/c it couldnt go unnoticed. B/c it was so hot, it ruined the experience and was too distracting to enjoy the show itself. I would consider seeing Dave Attell again, but definitely would not see another event at this venue
Thanks to The State for supporting hard-core comedy and the Portland Maine Comedy Fest!! The show was, as expected, fantasticand brought people from all over New England. NEXT UP: BIG JAY OAKERSON AND DAN SODER for a LIVE SiriusXM recording of The Bonfire!!! Please, thank you.
Dave Attell was great. He did a very long show and was hilarious. My only criticism was that the venue was very hot; probably over 90 degrees by the end of the night. Is there no air conditioning at the State Theater. I like the venue but it needs AC.
The show was fantastic. I just would love to see a few dozen more fans in that venue with no ac.
Too much USO tour and fundraising, not enough comedy. It just felt very odd to get depressed by the vet's stories and then have a comedian for about 5-10 minutes. Also, the C-list band played way too long and was way too loud. Next time, have the fundraising stuff at the beginning and the end, longer comedic sets, and no band. Also, Bill Burr wasn't there!
Dave is a freakin Master! I couldn't catch my breath I was laughing so hard! He is quick witted and unstoppable! I honestly had reservations going to see him again thinking he would reuse material. He is still fresh and will surprise the hell out of you!
