    Left Wanting

by Soulless Ginger on 11/13/23Town Hall - New York

The venue Town Hall seats are made for the keebler elf and his cookie making minion. I made the mistake of showing up 45 minutes early do to the fact I was taking mass transit from the Bronx. The show started 30 minutes late. I am 6'4” and had my shin dug into the seat in front of me for the entire show. It really ruined my experience and didn't truly enjoy myself at the show. Mr. Attell is my favorite comedian. I was in row D last 2seats in the row in the Mezzanine or balcony.

    Disappointing

    by Pep on 9/17/23

Dave was certainly not at his best. Appeared to be lacking energy and his second part of the show was not good. He brought back the show opener and tried to do comedic sparring that totally missed the mark. It was uncomfortable to watch and even Dave, a few times, said they were "losing the audience."Very disappointing!!

    Very disappointing

by Pep on 9/16/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

4 of us left feeling very disappointed. Dave seemed like he didn't want to be there. His second half where he partnered with the other comedian was awful. Dave, himself, mentioned that "they were losing the audience"a number of times while they were engaged in that awkward segment. Dressed like a homeless guy and not very funny...hmmm

    Laughs from beginning to end.

by Tommy on 9/13/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Best material he has ever had. Huge laughs from audience from beginning to end. Also included some great adlibs with audience members. NOT FOR POLITICALLY CORRECT. Too bad, life is short.

    Not our cup of tea

by Jools on 9/13/23The Wilbur - Boston

We enjoyed Louis Katz but the main act was definitely not our cup of tea! The humor was lewd, and crude. We couldn't wait to get out of there!

Dave Attell an old pro. Louis Katz...meh

by Susie on 9/13/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

So someone needs to tell Louis Katz there is a difference between funny and gross. And....very disrespectful to his new wife. Not funny. Now Dave... he came out like the pro that he is. Amazing. We were in the front row...long time fans...and he was great. Everyone rolling with laughter. Unfortunately he ended by bringing out Louis. The chemistry was not there. The prepared content great....the off the cuff cringy. The end.... Dave just kinda stood up, said bye and ran off stage. Even he was cringing. So would I go again? Maybe.

A great set from my favorite comic, wish he'd stayed solo

by Matt on 9/12/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

I was really looking forward to this show and it delivered on pretty much every expectation. That said, the opener had a tough set and clearly carried that energy into the faux Bumping Mics segment that closed out the headliner's set. As a result, it was a little awkward at times and not as strong of a close as it could be. The opener seems like he's on his way, but I'm not sure he was the best choice for that style of extended riffing, especially when half the time he was too busy laughing at what Dave said to respond in a snappy fashion, which kept killing the rhythm. I would have much preferred an hour of the headliner, alone, than what we got. It kills with Jeff Ross, but Mr. Katz is no Jeff Ross at this point in his career. The headliner shouldn't have to all but beg his opener to be a quick-thinker when doing improv or to not go with the safe joke every time, even if his first instinct might push the envelope a little or even go right up to the line. The couple times he didn't hesitate, he was really funny. The rest of their shared time was almost painful to sit through in spots. Dave continues to be the best at his craft and I can't wait to see him again, just maybe with a different opener next time.

    Dave Attell is the man

by Dncr5678 on 9/12/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Dave Attell is a living legend. He is the man. He’s also a very sexy and intelligent individual. The show was great because it was him. Thanks bye.

    Pretty good show

by Lynn B on 9/12/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

Great seats… a little lag time towards the end. Banter with opening act was fair. Enjoyed and would see Dave again. Not as funny as I anticipated though.

One of the few you must see every time they come to town. Dave kills with the right amount of fun dirt that keeps you laughing all night.

by Linda on 3/11/23Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Dave remains on his roast game and his land of misfit toys warm ups were also well picked. "Dustbowl good looks" KILLED. Great topical Bay Area relevant humor and really enjoyed the host too.

by Jessay on 3/8/23Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

The openers were amazing. First time ever hearing of one of my new favorite comics. Larry "Bubbles" Brown. The venue was nice too. Their food was a bit pricey though

    Super disappointed

by Dave on 3/8/23Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Wow what a bad show. All around just a stinker. The openers were better than Dave Attell and for the most part, they were not worth seeing. Louis Katz (SP?) was the best part of the show. He was one of the openers and his comedy was sharp and well delivered. It seems as if Dave was just completely wasted from earlier in the night. They opened the doors over an hour late leaving everyone wrapped around the block outside with the temperature in the 30’s. This seems to be because Dave was too wasted that they were trying to have him sober up. Not sure if this is the case but he was…inebriated. When they brought him out on stage he had a hard time walking to the stool and spilled his drink multiple times getting there. His delivery was OK but you could tell his brain wasn’t firing 100% and the show was the caliber that it should have been. Having a rough show he tried to bring the openers back out in the end. He attempted to kind of have a “bumping mic’s” feel where they zinged each other but it just wasn’t good. The other comedians were not of a caliber that the riffing back and forth worked or built up. Again, Louis Katz, was the only one being funny insulting Dave during this time. I wish I hadn’t had gone to the show even if that meant buying tickets and eating the cost. It was truly terrible.

    Excellent show bad seating arrengement

by Fernando on 3/8/23Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

They charge you extra for preferred seating but once you get there the line goes around the block and it’s first come first served seating. The row and seat number in your ticket do not mean a thing

    Dave Attell. Still killin it!!!

by Jon G on 3/7/23Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Same ol Dave. Telling it like it is, not holding back. Hilarious!!! Start to roast like finish he was killin the late night crowd. Filming took place which I think was appropriate since the crowd was super enthusiatic about the material. We as a group even got to participate with Dave in a little musical number which if this particular show makes the video cut, the world will see so I don't want to ruin it for anyone :) Dave, keep doing what you always do!! Miss ya already!!!🤣
