The show was fabulous, but the hourlong dead time an insult

The result was an evening of music that soared from start to finish. I am old enough to remember when starting way beyond the program time was the norm. Happily, well run comtempory venues and performers treat their audiences with more respect and things typically run on schedule. This was my first performance at the Rialto Theater - a terrific, historic venue - and I was surprised, dissapointed and annoyed by the hourlong break between the end of the opening act and the beginning of the show.
