About

Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the star of his very own award-winning web series, Live from Daryl's House, as well as a successful venue owner with "Daryl's House," a restored venue and live music space in Pawling, N.Y.

The Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere.

It's been quite a decade for Hall, including the opening of "Daryl's House," a combination world-class restaurant and performance venue, which he kicked off on October 31, 2014.  The popular venue also serves as home base for his multi award-winning Live from Daryl's House.  The show, which began as a "light bulb" moment for Hall when he launched it in 2007 as a free webcast, has set the standard for artist-initiated projects. The groundbreaking series provides a mix of legends and the next generation of superstars.  "Live From Daryl's House" streams on Daryl Hall's YouTube channel.

Previous episodes of Live From Daryl's House have featured a diverse mix of veteran and new performers from rock, soul, country and R&B including rock legends Sammy Hagar, Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick, Tommy Shaw, Kenny Loggins, Todd Rundgren, Nick Lowe, Dave Stewart and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top; soul and R&B artists The O'Jays, Aaron Neville, Aloe Blacc, Kandace Springs, Elle King, Wyclef Jean, Smokey Robinson, Cee Lo Green, Booker T & The MGs, and Sharon Jones; big-league singer/songwriters such as Ben Folds, Rob Thomas, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw, Goo Goo Dolls' John Rzeznik and Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump; country artists such as Shelby Lynne; and has helped break new acts like Fitz & The Tantrums, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Neon Trees, Johnnyswim,  Parachute and Anderson East.  The latest episodes of the show feature Squeeze's Glenn Tilbrook, Blackberry Smoke's Charlie Starr, Andy Grammer, Lisa Loeb, Robert Fripp, and Howard Jones.

Daryl Hall has come a long way, and he's still got plenty of mileage left in a career that's taken him from the streets of Philadelphia to the halls of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.  The best is yet to come. For more information, please go to www.darylhall.com

    professional, classy, and entertaining!

by awildeangel on 10/2/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

great venue, great nite, full moon, great overall band, and a great mate next to you, what more could i ask for? just a longer show, they got so many hits they cannot play them all, but sure wanted to hear "its a laugh". everything they played sounded very professional, thrown in with a little crowd chatter it was just the best i imagined in these later years of our super era of music and our aging bands. i will return next year if i am so honored with all i have now in life.

I expected more from Hall and Oates

    by Gtimez2 on 9/30/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

I really expected to enjoy this concert as I do like Hall and Oates music, especially the 70's and 80's songs. This was my first time seeing them live. They didn't sound like the familiar songs I am used to hearing on their records/cd's. The versions were way more accoustic than I would have expected so I was dissapointed. It just isn't the same when the songs that are so upbeat and catchy are slow. I didn't really get into the hand clapping, toe tapping, body moving that I normally do when I hear them on the radio. I am really a fan of hearing artists sing as close as possible to the original version that i'm used to.

Hall and Oates is a fun time

by concertenjoyer on 9/25/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

I enjoyed this concert for the obvious reasons--great songs and a great evening out at the Mountain Winery. I was disappointed in the length of the concert--a bit too short for the fun we were having. However, they hit all their major hits and it's admirable that they continue to sing them for us all these decades later.

    Show was a RIP-OFF

by Klayko on 9/16/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

The music that they played was ok. Charlie was outstanding as usual. But 1 hour and 10 minutes at these prices, what a RIP-OFF. In fact all the shows this year at the Winery have been very short. Just saw Lewis BLack there and his show was very short as well. What's up with that Dave House???

Overall great venue. Maybe the best I've ever been to and that includes Redrocks, Colorado.

    Hall and Oates

by Lovetheoutdoorvenues on 9/13/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

Venue at Mountain Winery is always great. Not a bad seat in the place. Did not like waiting an HOUR for Hall and Oates to start. I've been to Mountain Winery many times and never had to wait that long. They played a lot of memorable songs- but did not play that long. Frankly, the opening act was better. Probably just me, but I thought Oates was a better singer than Hall - and the Sax player was the best part of their act. Halls voice is gone, and the opening act was the best part of the night.

    Hall and Oates lacked passion.

by Anonymous on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

It felt like they were just going through the motions. There was no interaction between Hall and Oates. Loved the bongo drum player. He showed a ton of energy!

Hall & Oates Always a rocking!!

    by OldSchoolFan2 on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

I come to the Mt Winery every other year to hear Hall & Oates and always go home with a big smile on my face and talk about the 80's music all the way home... I'm a die hard H&O fan but this time I was a bit dissapointed that H&O played different renditions (very long instrumental songs at times) of their most popular songs, i.e. Sara Smile... I guess I'm "old school" because I would have loved to hear them (songs) in their original format.

Hall & Oates Cut it Short

    by johnni8510 on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

Seriously. Onstage for only an hour and ten minutes before starting their encores? Really? At these prices? First time seeing these guys and went because the date happened to be special. Turns out it will be the last time. $100 for 90 minutes, got way more out of the Beach Boys, and they're even older! FYI I'm not a concert novice either. Have seen hundreds of shows over the years and this one was my biggest disappointment since seeing The Firm back in the 80's.

Hall & Oates phone it in

by cadcan on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

Every year I think about getting tickets to this show, but this year I finally did it! I was truly excited since I had seen several of the "Live from Daryl's house" episodes and thought they were stellar. What a disappointment. First, they played for barely an hour. Secondly, where's the R&B? Schmaltzy renditions of good songs gone bad. I felt like I was watching a poor excuse for a cover band. Extending a song does not make it exciting or moving - it's just lazy music. Bummer.

Great Show at the Mt. Winery!

by CoachHalvy on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

We had great seats, the weather was perfect, and Hall & Oates were awesome! Highly recommend seeing them anywhere, but the winery is the perfect place to see any show. The only thing that would have made this show better, is they should have played longer. Rock on!

    Hall & Oates Put Out!!!

by Kittt on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

Hall & Oates did all their hits and more. Three "encore" songs are not to be missed; stay to the end! They rocked and the voices still roll!

    Daryl Hall & John Oates

by ItzDee on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

This was an excellent concert! Hall and Oates had the place jumpin! Everyone was dancing - having a great time. I would go see them again - especially at the Mountain Winery. If you didn't go - you missed out. The show was awesome!

    Hand Claps from Heaven!!!

    by Skanin2thebeat on 9/12/11Mountain Winery - Saratoga

These boys still rock, roll, and make everyone in the audience standup, dance and clap their hands like there's no tomorrow! Harmonies are still crisp and clean and even with no facial hair, the gents still make the women swoon! Come on Oates...bring back the Stash man!!! Great show, great venue and with a full moon...I CAN go for that!
