    From the first notes of the opening song my jaw was dropped. The band was incredibly skilled and tight yet it seemed you were listening to friends picking in your living room. Beyond the instrumentation, Darrell has an incredible voice which delivers the well written originals as well as a few choice covers. Amazing night.

    Not someone that most people would consider even close to a household name, Darrell Scott nonetheless is a man who's a leader in music. A songwriter and musician without peer, Mr. Scott held the crowd at Bunkers in Minneapolis in rapt attention throughout his 90 minute set. I've been familiar with his music for years, and was somewhat disappointed when I realized he'd be playing without a band--just his guitar. It didn't take long, and I didn't miss those extra elements. Scott's guitar playing is so full, so intricate, his and along with his heartfelt singing and great songs, it was moving...energetic. Darrell Scott's experience in the music industry showed...and gave us a musical experience we won't soon forget.

    Words cannot express my unexpected pleasure soaking in the lyrics and music sung by Darrell Scott. The sounds continue to reverberate in my soul. The lyrics touched my heart in a romantic haunted way. The setting was perfect. It was not overly crowded creating a personable private performance. I was introduced to this legend via a friend whom I'm extremely grateful to as I have become a fan forever.

    Absolutely incredible. Never miss a chance to see this man live. Hard to put into words how great it was. AND he brought the best percussionist around in Kenny Malone. Great great stuff
