Dancing in the Streets was a Blast!

    by Sue730 on 3/21/16Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

I bought the tickets for my mother, sister and mother-in-law for Christmas. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We were dancing and singing along the whole night. The cast was super friendly and interacted with the audience as well and you could sense the chemistry amongst the cast. We were a little disappointed they didn't play any Jackson Five but we are guessing that might have something to do with the royalties. Overall, we loved it!

    Just average

I may have liked this show better if I was able to see what was going on, on stage. I had a front row seat directly in front of a speaker or monitor. It was terrible. The singing was good, but without being able to see them, it wasn't worth my time or money.

    Dancing in the Aisles

by Pamadues on 3/21/16Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

The show was phenomenal. It really brought back lots of memories from the Motown Era. The singers were great and everyone seemed to really be enjoying it. After the intermission many people were up and dancing in the aisles. I would definitely recommend seeing it when it comes to your town.

The singers were excellent, the moves were together, the actions was continuous. Dancing in the Streets was really an awesome show. Kept everyone involved, without a dull moment.

The Motown sound is the best and these young people did not disappoint. All of their voices were awesome and the young man who did Stevie Wonder was absolutely the best. Their singing and dancing made for a really enjoyable evening.

    need new sound man

    by ymca49 on 3/19/16Adler Theatre - Davenport

Singers had good voices and were real entertainers. Costumes and music great. HOWEVER: musical instruments were overpowering and drowned out the vocals ! Especially when the men sang with deeper voices you couldn't make out the lyrics or clearly hear them. MUSIC was waaaaaaaaay too loud !

    Need better sound man

    by ymca49 on 3/19/16Adler Theatre - Davenport

Singers were all very good but the musical instruments were so overpowering that the music many times overpowered the vocals. Especially when the men with deeper voices sang you couldn't hear them or make out what they were saying. Band just waaaaaay too loud. Such a shame Singers worked their butts off. Choreography was kind of corny at times. Costumes were great the Motown music was of course great. We enjoyed the show but just wish they would fix the SOUND!!!!!!

Amazing show, had everyone on their feet!

by Kimmy1990 on 3/15/16Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

I took my mom out to this show for her birthday as we are both big Motown fans and we were both not disappointed!! They sang and danced so well and had us on our feet numerous times throughout the night, as well as got a lot of people sitting in the seats closest to the stage really engaged, even brought a lady on stage to dance! I was so pleased with myself for purchasing these last minute tickets I even bought one of their tour t shirts afterwards! I would recommend to all of my friends who enjoy live music and old school soul :)

The seats were great, unfortunately the sound quality was subpar. It seemed that the technical crew had issues balancing the band and the singers - throughout the first half I repeatedly had to cover my ears as the bass was so overwhelming. The acts were very well done, but were consistently drowned out by the band. To my great disappontment, we left the show after only ten minutes into the second half.
