  • Touch of High, Mostly Low

by MT on 9/4/24Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 2 out of 5

Loved the setting and lights (except for when all of the lights came on randomly). When we arrived, Rufus Du Sol was playing and was great. Each song seemed to trail off before hitting the right beats on the next, lots of gaps in the kind of rhythms that continue the upbeat dancing. There were also a lot of songs I did not know, which I will admit, I listen to most of the hits from the bands listed, but since it listed a good amount of artists, I assumed the hits would be played. Those artists also have much better music than Taylor Swift...

  • Mediocre DJ, too big venue

by Matt on 7/29/24The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

The DJ attempting to hype the crowd over mediocre drops wasn't working. Vibe was off the whole time. Mainly because the venue was way too big for how many people there were. This should have been at St Andrews; the filmore felt empty with how few people were there.

  • Mostly a fun time

by kieleantra on 7/22/24Summit - DenverRating: 3 out of 5

I was really excited for this concert and ready to dance. If you like more house style music, then this is perfect. It started off pretty slow and I was hoping for more of a slightly harder beat that's fun to dance to. The DJ was good except for when he would announce when long drops were coming. I felt that was a bit unnecessary and took you out of it a bit. Overall a fun time though.

  • Not worth the money!!

by Gaby on 7/22/24Summit - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

DJ was so bad, songs went on for way too long and the transitions didn’t make sense, as soon as a song people knew would come on they would change it, and no matter how much I drank I didn’t feel drunk enough to enjoy this. You can get the same effect letting one of your friends make a playlist on Spotify and dancing at home.

  • Great time!

by Gwen on 7/11/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Really fun, good music that's not typically played at dance parties including some more indie music. The DJ could have shut up a bit more and just let the music speak for itself however.

  • best NYE ever

loved the venue, security, music and vibe! Tickets were also super reasonable for NYE

  • Here for the lasers

by Disco Danny on 3/15/22Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Been going to the NYC version of the party for years! My only complaint is that I'm envious of the LA party; which seems to have festival level stage production. Luckily it seems that they're starting to bring that level of detail to the NYC show. Probably having something to do with being at a better music venue now with a proper stage. Nothing wrong with Babies... it's just that Bowery Ballroom is on a different playing field. Other than that I really like that these guys push the genre forward with new music rather than just playing the same 20 hits every show. Anyway, I'm going to leave another review after attending the LA show in a couple weeks. Stay tuned!

  • Love the music

Love the music here, great mix of classic indie dance jams with newer stuff. Laser show was awesome too.

  • Music Sucks

by Honest on 3/8/22Teragram Ballroom - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

The music they played you couldn’t even dance to it. This place needs better music because it sucked!
