The event was organized well and stayed fairly on schedule for how many acts there were and for having two stages. All bands gave their all, especially DGD! I can only imagine how they felt, but they still showed up and gave it their all and hopefully the audience carrying the songs helped them heal just a little bit. Sending all my love to the band and hoping they know how thankful all of us are for the work they put in and the artistry they share with us!
This venue has next to no shade and they were charging $5 for a 14 oz water. This was strait up old school ozfest level of ripping people off. No outside water or water bottles allowed and no water stations. It was over 80 degrees that day and all of the lines to get anything were not shaded. Stood in line for an hour for merch only to find out they couldn’t even sell half of the stuff they had displayed because “it wasn’t in the system”
great time, loved watching gavin. RIP tim feerick ❤️
Venue was real nice. Needs more shade areas though. About half the bands I could’ve done without. With a few set time changes (longer and later sets for bigger bands) I probably would have paid double the price for the ticket. The side stage had some not great bands playing, but it was great anyway since it allowed the main stage to not be as crowded and other people still got to see who they came for, so two stages are a good idea.
Barely got to enjoy the concert because I was waiting in the merch line for over 6 hours. Y’all need to figure this out. It isn’t rocket science
DGD, has beem my FAVORITE band for OVER 13 years. Back when tim wasnt a full member. Back when johnny would do dope bedore shows. I worked these venues, and they are dudes who just want to make music. I am sick, autoimmune. So i coulsnt have gone....i wish ticketmaster let you give tickets for free. Id given mine to somone who can stand longer than 10 minutes. From my friends who went....excellent show. Duh
It would have been nice for them to say that the show was over. Instead of them walking off stage and being bitter. I know they are grieving but we all waited like 10 min thinking they would get back on stage
Where do I start? I’ll keep it short and to the point. #1: merch lines were literally either you stand and wait for 5 hours or get nothing. #2: whatever the sound guy was doing for the first 5 bands on that MainStage really did not do a good job at all. It sounded like a car Aux cord that was shortening out the whole time. Not to mention vocals only coming out every once in a while and nothing was even audible. Terrible terrible terrible.
Honestly it was the best thing in the world to see my favorite band live so much tears fell from my face that day October 3. All of your songs has helped me cope with life and saved me from a dark place in my mind and suicidal tendencies I really thank them so much they have no idea what it means to me to just see them in person and hear them play my favorite songs I really enjoyed this experience and hope for more in the future such an excellent experience and band 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Ok so first and for most opening bands-AMAZING! The set list for DGD was everything I ever dreamed of and then them taking on Lemon Meringue Tie.....I mean HELL YES!! Will Swan...man you da man! I just have no way to describe the pure joy and happiness and everything I felt at this show. They are welcome to come back to Atlanta ANYTIME....tomorrow perhaps? 10/10 everything from the music, clean venue, and COVID regulations were exceptional!!!! Aaahhhhhh I just rewatch all my videos over over again. "I want you to matter to you" ♥️
The best show ever, listening to their records doesn’t even compare to the real life moment.
Amazing Concert!!! Only Complaint Is That Their We’re No Actual Help With VIP. I Even Missed The Interview Pre Concert. Just Wish Directions Would Have Been More Clear. I Didn’t Even Stand Where My Spots Were Because People In General Admission Took Them. All And All Great Time. But If I Had To Change Something VIP Regulations Would Be It.
DIDNT get full VIP experience. Kind of bummed out. Well purchase regular ticket next time
Couldn’t have been any better, they absolutely killed it! Hope to see them come back to Nashville soon
I bought these concert tickets so long ago, and it was well worth the wait! DGD has surpassed my expectations of what a modern rock band should perform like. The hype & energy the band bounces back and forth with the crowd is a sight to be seen. Whether you’re an OG fan or a new listener, DGD is sure to rock your world!
The line up was a really good blend! Wolf and bear did great, eidola did great, veil of Maya went insane, And Polyphia had one of the best sets of the night! Dance Gavin dance did a pretty decent job, but honestly it kinda felt like they were just testing the waters on their new songs live and didn’t really play to the crowd
It was mine and my boyfriends first ever concert, we love the band and everything was perfect. It was so fun and the strobe lights where great!
All the performances were fantastic but I didn’t enjoy the venue that the event was changed to. It was changed very last minute. My tickets didn’t even call out the venue change and they were digital. I would’ve totally missed it if someone else didn’t tell me. And the venue that we went to was nowhere near as safe as the original location. It was in a completely different part of town in a uncontrolled location. I did not feel safe there. Plus there were no speakers in the back. So you had to get right in front of the band to be able to hear well at all. If you stood off to the side or went up to the balcony to get a better view the audio quality was diminished. Not to mention that people were packed in like sardines sweating profusely because it was so hot in the venue that people were getting heat stroke at night, indoors, with air conditioning. It was not a good venue. And I pick the concerts that I’m going to go to based on the location sometimes. There are locations that I do not want to go to and this is now on that list. So when I buy concert tickets would be nice to know where it’s actually going to be held. It would also be nice to have an explanation for why the last-minute change so that I could understand it better. Thanks for the great music though!
4 openers is over kill. I get that is how some shows operate, but I’m not a fan. 1-2 openers only please and more time for the headliner. Additionally the last minute venue change was not good, If you’re going to have openers don’t cram 3 bands worth of sound equipment onto a tiny stage. It sounded like one big muffle. You couldn’t hear the vocals at all. Had to just stand through it and endure so i wouldn’t loose my spot.
