This was one of my most exciting experiences ever!
We brought my son as an early birthday present. I have never heard him scream with that much excitement in his entire life. The show was funny and exciting beginning to end. Thank you!
I went with low expectations, which were comprehensively met. The kids said they enjoyed it, but compared to other shows we've been to their normal high state of excitement during and after the show was relatively subdued. Tickets cost from $40-$99. $15-20 would be more suitable.
As a mom of an 8-year old son, I had no idea what to expect of this show, who else would be in the audience, and whether it would be age appropriate. It was perfect for kids age 7-14, and parents too, very entertaining. I would have preferred no roblox mention (dangerous for kids, I believe), and no pretend fight scene but that's my only suggestion
The whole show was amazing. Dan is fantastic. The kids had a great time and especially loves the meet & greet.
My son enjoyed the show tremendously! He looks up to Dan TDM and wants to be just like him.
Like other parents said, I have not seen my kid so excited and happy! Was super anxious to go, made me get to the venue 1 hour before the show; he said he LoVED it. Getting high-five from Dan after the show made the experience even more memorable. I am sure he didn't wash his hands that night ;).
My ten year old son was very impressed. He is an avid subscriber and never misses a daily post. (ad naseum!) He had front row seats but was bummed that there were so few meet and greets available and we didn't get one, however dan did a very classy thing and came to the outside stage exit after a huge number of kids (and parents!) waited out there for a long time in hopes he might head to his bus. Dan came out and asked everyone (kids only) to line up and he greeted every one of them personally and gave hi fives and thanked them for coming; accepted gifts (my son made a skeleton dog... grim?) and dan was gracious and made every kids day. class act, makes the 150 bux in merchandise a good value. (ouch)
My son thinks the world of DanTDM. It was a dream come true for him to goto his show and actually meet him. The show was so family friendly and fun! DanTDM and his team were so nice to all the children. It was just wonderful! Thank you so much!
Out 9 year old son is obsessed with Dan TDM, I was dreading going to this show as I though "how could he play games during the show and keep it interesting?" It was actually amazing, my child was so happy and excited to see Dan in person. He was very disappointed that we were unable to get the VIP tickets as I did not see them during my purchase as the show went on sale. But in the end, he was able to high five Dan in the back alley of the Louisville show. It has been 3 months since the show and Kaden still talks about it every day and he thanks us every day for taking him. Dan, keep doing what you are doing, you keep it clean and classy for the kids and that makes us Mom's very happy!
My kids loved the show! It was totally worth the money and we all had fun. The story kept me entertained too.
I got a sense that Dan was there to meet his fans, that was the purpose of the tour which is amazingly sweet and shows the amazingly charming character of Dan. The kids clearly adore him and the show effects were clever and very cool. I really didn't know what to expect from the show, but came away pleasantly surprised and with a sense that there is still decent people in the world - Dan. And as he is a fellow Brit and my son has been a fan since he was about 5 years old, really wanted to see the show and would go again.
We had a really great time at the Dan TDM show. It was so lively in the theatre. The excitement that the show possesses is second to none. I'm really glad that we took the family to the show!
I loved the show. I loved the song at the end and all of the merchandise. I also loved meeting Dan backstage.
I have never seen my 9 year old have SO MUCH FUN. Great interaction with the kids. Would go again and again!
Dan is tired. Very low energy. He needs to go home and rest up. If your child is between 6-8, they will most likely enjoy it, but my son just turned 10, is a HUGE fan and was bored stiff. We had excellent seats and did the Meet and Greet thing, which was lame as well. THINK waiting in line at the mall during Xmas to see Santa: Be prepared to wait in a long line for your kid to spend a few short seconds with Dan for a photo op, which you guessed it, will be available on-line.... for a FEE. Although, parents are permitted to take pictures from the side. I feel like this entire tour is sort of a shameful way for him to make even more money. I didn't think there was any real talent there that was worthy of taking on a worldwide tour. I'm surprised I'm one of the few to post a negative review. It REALLY was that bad. Also worth noting, if you received your VIP meet and greet ticket through a friend, relative or 3rd party, I'm not sure how you'll get in. They DID NOT even look at our actual VIP tickets, they simply asked my name and just looked it up on their list of purchasers. I didn't even have to show my ID, my show tickets, receipts, nothing. I only verbally gave them my name. It was convenient (for me), but could be problematic for ticket holders who received these tix as a gift, or purchased them from an on-line site.
My son and I flew down from the Bay Area to see DanTDM, and it was worth every penny! The show was lots of fun, and Dan got the crowd involved in almost every act. After the show, my son and I waited in front of the theater for Dan to come out and give high fives to people in line. I love that he started at the end of the long line (which is where we were), and my son actually hugged Dan and got to talk to him for a second! My son is the BIGGEST DanTDM fan, and this was literally the greatest moment of his life so far! He refuses to wash the shirt he was wearing :) I am so happy we got to share this special day together. Thanks Dan for being such a creative and positive role model for kids!
Dan took the time to high five his fans after the show, and Eve doing the worm was unforgettable!!!
This was our 2nd time seeing Dan on tour. We had meet and greet tickets this time and it was amazing, very well organized and Dan was incredibly personable. If you do meet and greet I suggest writing down what question your kid wants to ask in case they get a little nervous.
