About

Damon Wayans is most fondly remembered for his three seasons as writer and co-star on the Emmy Award-winning series In Living Color. There, he created sketch characters like “Homey the Clown,” “Handiman” and outrageously gay film critic Blaine from “Men on Film”. His writing for the series earned him two personal Emmy® nominations.

Wayans has enjoyed tremendous success in stand-up. After starting his career in 1982 touring the comedy club circuit, he landed a role as a featured player on the famed NBC series Saturday Night Live. Wayans went on to star in his own critically acclaimed HBO specials, One Night Stand, The Last Stand, Still Standing and WayOut.

    No' Comedy for less Money

by HomeBoyComedyNetwork on 2/17/14House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

After what seems like decades the Wayans have not lost the comedy edge. It was surprising that the show was stand up by the 4 brothers, each one bringing his own spin based upon their respective interests. Shawn, Marlon, Keenan, and Damon have aged but their comedy has not, instead of stale you get fresh new perspectives from the comedy pioneers. As this was the kickoff show, it didn't seem like it. If anything I believe each one if the brothers was caught off by how well their sets went and they were losing track of time. For a show that was almost 2 hours long it felt like it was only an hour. The Wayan's brothers are funny comedy pros who know that over the years the fans have given then the success and as such they repay.

Marlon, Shawn, Keenon, & Damon Wayans are HILARIOUS !! I didn't know what to expect, but it was truly worth the money. I laughed so hard all night long. I'm glad Shawn and Marlon made a guest appearance. It was a great night.

    Damon Wayans

by Appliance on 7/26/13Tommy Ts - Pleasanton

We saw him at Tommy Ts Pleasanton. I loved this guy on the t.v. shows - funny, sharp witted and could relate to anyone watching. At this club, he appeared to be winging it - nothing flowed. Part of his routine was politically driven - with no humor - but preachy. A majority of his act was vulgar, offensive, and without humor. The funniest part was when he spoke about his son...I would not recommend seeing him. A huge disappointment. The best part of the show were the two comedians before him!.

Wasn't to siked initially about the show, but I must say Damon Wayans is funny, even my husband enjoyed it. The 'Haitain' guy that opened for him was also funny. Seating was tight, but overall it was a nice outing with good friends.

    Self explanatory

by TricY on 7/3/10Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

The show was the bomb. Wayans and his intro comic were on point. However, the venue sucked! I realize they are trying to make as much money as possible but dang! You can only squeeze so many folks into a table, comfortably. Again the show was excellent`e!

    Great Show (too short)

by Big43 on 6/30/10Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

My wife and I thouroughly enjoy Damon Wayans performace. He was as funny as he's ever been. The pre-show comic (forgot name) was very funny also. We thought there would be other up-and-coming comics (at least 2 more) that performed before Damon Wayans. The show started at 8 and we were out of there by 9:30. I thought the entire show would be a bit longer. With that said, we had a wonderful time and laughed harder than we have in years. Tears were coming from both of our eyes and our stomachs were soare the next day from laughing so hard. Welcome Back Damon!! We hope to see you again soon.

It is great that Damon Wayans is still funny and relevant even at age 49. Go to the show.

The whole act of Tiger Woods was pretty funny. His view of Michelle, the presidents wife, seem pretty accurate

    Fun Event!

by erolop on 6/28/10Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

We had a great time at the event. As expected Damon was hilarious! I was very dissatisfied with the seating however. I was under the impression we were going to be seated in a theatre/auditorium setting. It was awkward and uncomfortable that we had to sit at tables resembling cafeteria tables. We were elbow to elbow with everyonee else. The tables were set up vertically to the stage so I had to turn my head completely the whole time to see the stage.

    Too Short

by Lisarose88 on 6/28/10Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

The show was great and Damon had us on the floor, but I did feel he could have stayed on stage a little longer, it felt to short to me. But I had a good time anyway.

It was a good show, but he wasn't as funny as I expected. I think Damon is a better comedy actor, but he is still funny and talented. I loved him on My Wife and Kids.

I thought Damon Waynes would be great, but it felt like he just went out there with no material and talked. The opening act was MUCH funnier than him! I was happier paying to see him!
