Damien Escobar on Tour
World-renowned violinist, author and philanthropist Damien Escobar brings a lifetime of musical talent to the stage in 2022 on his Life Out Loud Tour. He's dazzled audiences worldwide, starting at age 8 as a student at The Julliard School, then as a street musician in New York's Grand Central Station and other locales, all the way to his performance at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama. And now, fans can snag tickets to see this two-time Emmy Award winner and violin virtuoso play his signature blend of jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and classical at venues across the United States.

Born in the Jamaica, Queens, neighborhood in New York City in 1986, Damien Escobar was destined for a life in music from a tender age. He began playing violin at the age of 8 and showed unparalleled talent as a young musician. By age 10, he began taking weekend classes at The Julliard School as the youngest student ever to be accepted. His brother, Tourie Escobar, was similarly gifted, and the two later studied together at the Bloomingdale School of Music in Manhattan. Around 2003, the two brothers started Nuttin' But Strings and excited audiences by blending classical violin with jazz, R&B and hip-hop. Damien and Tourie gained fame playing in New York hotspots like Grand Central Station and later won a talent night at the Apollo Theater in 2005. The brothers gained momentum as they landed a White House performance for George W. Bush, made it to No. 3 on America's Got Talent in 2008 and later performed at the inauguration of former President Barack Obama in 2009. By 2012, Damien had stopped performing with his brother and earned his real estate license. However, it wasn't long before music called to him again, and Damien finally made his solo debut in 2012. According to Damien, "It all needed to fall apart so I could be forced to grow while putting it back together the right way." And he did put it together the right way because Damien went on to release his first solo album, Sensual Melodies, in 2014, followed by Awaken in 2015, Boundless in 2017, and Songs from a Breakthrough in 2020.
This was far most the best concert I have ever attended.And I hate that I won’t get to see him again. I love the music he plays,to me he’s the best violinist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.And I will continue to listen to his music, and I have everything he’s put out. The Damien Escobar concert at Center Stage in Atlanta Georgia was amazing. I have been a fan of his for some years. This was my first time seeing him live. I Enjoyed him sharing his life through his conversation with his fans. I can't wait to see him again. Please come back soon.
I didn't know what to expect until the show began, once it started I was really stunned with his performance, I will attend another show.
Damien Escobar's Victory Lap Tour was an awesome show! It was my first time seeing him live and he did not disappoint. The venue was intimate so there was no bad seat in the house. I will definitely see him the next time he is in Atlanta.

I have been listen to Mr Escobars music for a few years but this was my first time seeing him live. Wow. Terrific, dynamic performance with talented backing musicians.
This was my first time watching Damien Escobar live. He and his band were energetic and excited. Damien Escobar was a complete showman. I stood for the whole show, clapping and feeding off the energy of Damien. Damien was so electrifying that the strings on his bow flew around as he played. (I thought he was going to break his bow). If you get a chance to see him, please do.

This was a fantastic show! Damien is so genuine and talented and his love for his audience is so real. Every show is different no matter how many times I’ve seen him. Love him!!
He was so full of heart, life and energy. I would see him every week, if I could afford it. He was so personable. My husband even had a good time. And that is saying a lot. The atmosphere was amazing. The venue was great. His entire company of "brothers"would let me close my eyes and feel what they were playing, everyone is so talented. Damien's talent is unbelievable. He should be on a world stage and everyone should know his name. I look forward to the next time I can enjoy his vibe.
We really enjoyed Damien Escobar!! He was energetic, warm, and very talented. His music set was on point. This is my second time at a Damien Escobar concert, and we'd go again.
He was full energy from the moment he step on the stage to the moment he stepped off. Outstanding performance. Can’t wait to hear him again.

Unfortunately, I have never attended one of his concerts. But I wanted him to know, that I listen to him every day. To work out take long walks, to clean up my house or yard. Or just to sit back and relax, with a nice glass of wine or a book. If I am not listening to him or watching him on YouTube. I am listen to gospel. I just wanted to say your music is soothing, also motivating for so many different reasons for me, it keeps me in a very peaceful place. I thank God for you. I came to this site to search for Damien's next show in my area. I missed the July show in VA (had to work). However, I am going to be dilgent in looking for future performances in or close to the DMV. He absolutely "wowed"me when I saw him for the first time in December 2021!! Awesome performance and it was a great way to celebrate my birthday month!!
I was at Wolf trap on 7/20. Amazing Show! Damien Escobar has a real gift of playing the Violin and Connecting with his audience! What an Exceptional Talented Artist. Looking for to seeing you again, when you are back performing in the DMV area!
I saw him at Wolf Trap in VA (thank you for the selfie) and I will be watching out for his next performance in the area. I thought I was in love with the sound of the Saxophone but to listen to him play the Violin, SMH, and hips lol . Great performer! Go Check him out!
