  • Wonderful mix of classics

    by Bluegrasslover1 on 12/13/12STEPHENS AUDITORIUM - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

This show was a wonderful mix of classics. My family has been fans of the whole Vincent family for years. It was an added treat to see Darin's parents there. It was evident that they genuinely love the music and enjoy entertaining together.

Was one of the best shows we've seen. Would recommend for the whole family.

  • Great Harmonies

If you liked the Statler Brothers and great harmony, you will love Dailey & Vincent. It's a fun, down-to-earth group of musicians. Fantastic instrumentalists too!

The most talented group of vocalists and musicians I have ever seen on one stage. Excellent song selection and a truly heartfelt performance.

This was the 15th time I've seen them and was blown away. Absolute proof positive why they are 3 time IBMA Entertainers of the Year. No one can touch them!

  • Dailey & Vincent

by WesGrass on 1/23/12Fox Cities PAC - AppletonRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I had the opportunity to see Dailey & Vincent, but it will not be the last! The band's harmony is amazing! The songs they played ranged from gospel bluegrass to Elvira. This band has talent dripping from all of the musicians, from the young banjo player (Joe Dean Jr) to the experienced mandolin player par excellence (Jeff Parker), an amazing fiddle player (Jesse Stockman), as well as the unbelievably long "pipes" of bass vocalist (Christian Davis). Jamie Dailey & Darren Vincent can sit together on stage and wow a crowd with their instrumental talent, but their vocals are some of the best I've ever heard. Do not miss an opportunity to see these gentlemen!

  • Bluegrass at it's best

by EyesOnly on 1/22/12Fox Cities PAC - AppletonRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first time seeing Dailey and Vincent but as first-timers we were in the minority. The have a very large, and very dedicated, following - and for good reason. Instrumentally they were amazing and vocally the harmony was over the top. Their music covered everything from Mama Maybel to the Statler Brothers to Ricky Scaggs to Allison Krause. The down-to-earth personalities and audience engagement made an on-stage performance feel like a back porch jam session. We'd never seen them before but we certainly will again.

A truely amazing and entertaining show. The vocals were dead on, the harmonies, 3-4 and at times 5 part were very tight. The entire band were very accomplished instrumentalists. The show was lively and very interactive with the crowd. I would highly recomend this show to anyone, even if they are not into bluegrass. They did over 1 and half hours without a break!

Wonderful concert. The vocal harmony of the group was the highlight of the evening. Only one negative. Having worked with audio for many years, I immediately noticed the volume level was set to the point that it overdrove the speaker system. It was especially noticable on the banjo players mike, and when high notes were sung. It was almost to the point of painful decibels.

  • Outstanding Performance!

This was an outstanding performance! We saw this group last summer & when I saw that they were going to be at the PAC, I just had to get tickets. Top shelf entertainment. Awesome harmonizing, especially the ocapella songs. Very inspiring!

Excellent show! My first time seeing Dailey & Vincent, and surely not my last. The musicianship, vocals and engaging participation with the crowd was just outstanding. If you have any interest in bluegrass and country music, don't delay, see these guys.

  • Good Entertainment

by OldOrv on 10/10/11Capitol Theatre - WheelingRating: 5 out of 5

As expected, this bluegrass group is just about as good as bluegrass or any music act can be. Unlike many shows, it was not an advertisement for their next album. These are class gentlemen. The group was all dressed nice (unlike me who hates to wear a suit). Suitable show for the young or older. The young girl in front of us, about 10 yrs old, could hardly contain herself, especially the gospel songs.

  • Daily & Vincent put on a great show.

by GravyDog on 2/1/11Progress Energy Center Fletcher Opera Theatre - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Now I know why Daily & Vincent have been the IBMA's entertainers of the year: they put on a great show. Big voices and great playing. Jokes a little corny, but nothing dumb. Overall, the show moved along very well, and the band kept a high level of energy.

  • Dailey & Vincent...one word: Phenomonal!

by ltindy on 10/31/10Ball State University Pruis Hall - MuncieRating: 5 out of 5

I took along a music teacher friend of mine who had never heard Dailey & Vincent. I warned her that she would be duly impressed. She was. These guys play beautifully and their harmonies are superlative, no matter whether they're singing two, three, or four part. They mixed the show up well between 'regular' bluegrass and gospel. I have to admit to being slightly disappointed by their non-inclusion of "On the Other Side", but that's likely due to their taking a few audience requests which I could've lived without. They played about two hours, worked the room and interacted well with each other and several audience members. After the show, they came out and signed autographs until everybody was gone. They're definitely on my "see whenever possible" list.

  • This group was GREAT!

They really mixed things up (bluegrass, gospel, even some comedy) Kept us entertained through the whole show! Hope they'll come back to this area again.
