If you have the opportunity to see a Dailey & Vincent show, DON'T MISS IT! What a phenomenal group of musicians! The talent is amazing, the show itself highly entertaining. They are truly one of THE BEST groups in bluegrass today.

Loved Dailey & Vincent, they always put on a great show!! Not impressed with the seating at all, felt like we were packed in like sardines! And had two on my left that were reaking of beer and drinking too, and on the other side had two guys that had beans for supper. Made the whole experience awful. Won't waste my money to go there again!!

  • Love the Band

  • Dailey and Vincent brought the house down.

They played such a variety of music, from Statler Bros remakes to a capella gospel. Marvelous harmony and humor thrown in for good measure! The bass singer added a richness to the sound. Each member of the group displayed rare talent. Super combination of sounds and tones.

  • Dailey and Vincent Disappointment,

by Tnranger on 11/24/14U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 2 out of 5

It is frustrating when expectations are not met. My wife and I have liked Daily and Vincent since they first started on their own. We were huge fans of their early traditional sound, even enjoying their current Statler Brothers covers. This was the first time we had seen them live. We were not prepared for the Branson/Vegas style show. It's all about the sound. I have never understood why someone would spend thousands of dollars on great sounding acoustic instruments, and then ruin the sound by putting a pickup in them. Jamie and Darrin are great guitar players, but their guitars sounded terrible. I guess it's really cool to walk all over the stage while playing and be wireless. The other issue was volume. It was way too loud. The Bjiou is the best venue in town, an acoustic jewel. There is no need to crank up the sound to just under the feedback level. We sat in the balcony and were very uncomfortable with the volume level. I felt sorry for the people on the floor. I have been to too many other well produced acoustic country type shows at the Bijou: Patty Lovelace, Iris Dement, Allison Kraus, and know what a good sound set up can do. By contrast, Blue Moon Rising did an EXCELLENT job! If they were the only act I would have given them 4 stars.

  • Best Bluegrass show bar none

A terrific show - one of the best ever seen at The Birchmere! Cleary, The Birchmere should bring them back on at least a yearly basis. A great, great mix of talent and entertainment!

I'm not typically a fan of traditional Bluegrass, but I have to say I had a great time at this concert! I would go back and see them again anytime! Energetic, fun, and the artists are some of the best in the business! Completely in awe!

The best show in bluegrass/country/Americana music bar none. The exquisite harmony gives me chills down my spine. I love, love, love this band!

  • Dailey and Vincent are the best

by ModelTex on 12/13/12STEPHENS AUDITORIUM - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

We had the pleasure of seeing Dailey and Vincent for the first time live in Ames Iowa this past Tuesday. Their talent is beyond measure! Talented, fun loving, and truly honest entertainers. We saw Santa and Rudolf, laughed, cried a little, and sat on the edge of our seats hoping it would never end. And then the end, oh what an ending, they gave it their all and left no one in their seats. We will be in Iowa City in February for sure...............Good music should touch you, Dailey and Vincent touched everyone in the audience that evening.

  • Dailey & Vincent and band were genuinely awesome

by VBeek on 12/13/12STEPHENS AUDITORIUM - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

They were very entertaining with a good mix of traditional and Christmas music. Very talented vocal and band associates. Sincere emotion with a nice tribute to the veterans. Hope more folks have the opportunity to see them.

  • DAILEY AND VINCENT ARE FANTASTIC!

by KittyTheCat on 12/13/12STEPHENS AUDITORIUM - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I are big Dailey and Vincent fans, so we weren't surprised that we loved the show. We have seen them in person once before and were thrilled to see they were coming to Ames. Love their bluegrass and also their Statler Brothers songs. The singing and instrumentals were fantastic, however we couldn't hear the banjo unless he was doing a solo; I think drums and keyboard obscure the bluegrass instruments too much. Thank you ISU for bringing them to Stephens Auditorium. More bluegrass concerts please!

  • Dailey & Vincent Christmas - A real pleasure

by Anonymous on 12/13/12STEPHENS AUDITORIUM - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

Daily & Vincent (or course) and each one of the singers/musicians are unique and one-of-a-kind. Top-notch in every respect. This was our first time to see them in person and I am so so sorry for those I did not encourage to attend. Lifted out spirits beyond that which we expected. We will certainly attend their next performance in Ames....and next time we will bring others along. Thanks to each one of you for a night we will remember for years to come.
