About

Cypress Hill has long represented the will of the people. With over 18 million albums sold worldwide, the Los Angeles trio of rappers B -Real, Sen Dog and producer DJ Muggs have continued to push rap's boundaries since their inception in the early 90s.

With their eponymous debut album in 1991, B -Real and Sen Dog established themselves as one of rap's most potent duos. Their creative phrasing, distinctive voices and graphic subject matter, coupled with DJ Muggs' atmospheric, piercing and dusty beats, propelled the trio to international superstar status.

In 2010 Cypress Hill will release their 8th studio album, ‘Rise Up' produced by Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, and featuring the talents of Pete Rock, Daron Malakian, Mike Shinoda, Apathy, Pitbull, Marc Anthony and more. ‘Rise Up' is the trio's first release under the Snoop Dogg administration at Priority Records.

As the years have passed, the crew's dynamic stage show - bolstered in 1994 by the addition of percussionist Eric Bobo (also of Beastie Boys fame) - has evolved into one of raps most polished, as such intense tunes, ‘Insane In The Brain', ‘Rock Superstar', ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man', ‘We Ain't Goin' Out Like That', ‘Lick A Shot' and ‘Real Estate' translated perfectly to the stage. Given this reality, it's little surprise that Cypress Hill remain a major concert draw, even when they take time off between albums.

In 2010 Cypress Hill bring that legendary live show to Australia for a national tour and to headline the Coaster Festival at Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast.

Rise Up is in store now through Priority Records and EMI Australia.

  • Awesome as always!

by Spencer on 9/5/22Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles TownRating: 5 out of 5

This is my third time seeing Cypress Hill. They have honed their onstage craft and are polished through the entire set. No backing track, which separates the men from the boys IMO.

  • Great!

Everything I could have hoped for given that they were down a man. I wouldn't go to see them by themselves but they were still very fun and entertaining!

  • Lifelong Cypress Hill Fan

    by R. H. on 6/16/22Rating: 3 out of 5

Honestly, I thought B-Real was a bit flat and the performance was on par with more of a festival vibe. Sets were quick and there was minimal hype from the crowd. Cypress Hill is am epic group but unfortunately it didn’t translate well to a live performance.

  • Awesome concert

by Lily on 9/5/21Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

It was amazing seeing Atmosphere and Cypress Hill. I bought VIP tickets and it was well worth the price. Awesome seats with the best view in the house. The venue was alright, hard to find and parking was a hassle. The event made up for it.

  • Loved it! Venue was awesome!

I loved the size of the venue. I had great seats for the price I paid. It didn't seem like there was any bad seats in the house.

Open air theater was great, nice cool breeze all night long! D.J. Z-Trip was amazing, scratching records and hitting that bass! First time knowing and hearing Atmosphere, he's was AWESOME! CYPRESS HILL KILLED IT!!!! What night! Can wait to see then again

  • Meet & greet was cool. Covid sucks.

by Chris on 8/17/21Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

It was cool meeting Slug & Ant. Got to talk for 30 seconds. It sucks that I paid money to meet them only to have them have masks on in pictures. They both couldn’t sign an album cover that I bought. Disappointing to say the least.

Played all the favorites!!! Never saw Z-trip before but he was incredible as well. Great show, great venue. Love San Diego ❤

by Misti on 8/17/21Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Loved the outdoor venue. Finding parking with construction was difficult (could have had signs up) but once it was locate super easy parking. The show was amazing. The sound was super clear & the sets were long. So much fun

  • Bad Sound for Cypress Hill

by Slimpickens on 8/17/21Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

Atmosphere (rapper) was amazing and you could hear him crystal clear! Cypress Hill’s sound wasn’t great and you could hardly hear B-Real. Great show, bad sound.

  • Badass event even with sound issues

by Cisco_man on 8/17/21Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

Cypress Hill never disappoints. With Eric Bono rocking the percussions coupled with DJ Lord on the turntables, the only thing that could go wrong was the mics won’t be loud enough…which happened. Bummer first 20min bet they handled it like champs!

  • Had a amazing time

I thought I would be hot and sweaty but to my surprise it wasn’t . Big ceiling fans throughout the venue. Restrooms were very clean. Overall I give it a 10

  • Better than expected

by Pfalkner01 on 8/9/21The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 4 out of 5

Z Trip was a good between set vibe. Atmosphere was the real win, first time to see him live. Great set and energy. Cypress Hill did as expected, played what I expected and still had good energy. Toyota is always a great venue and the merch table always runs smooth.

  • Best time

    by S. on 1/13/20Franklin Music Hall - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert, staff and venue. Everyone from security, bartenders and venue staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and the musical acts were fantastic. One of my most favorite acts. Easily able to buy merch wanted, space to sit when needed and the bathrooms were relatively clean.
