Good show
by sestra on 10/5/21XL Live - HarrisburgShow was great, nice venue. Food area in back is no longer open, which sucks, their chicken was good! Oddly, the same drink (straight shot) was $2 cheaper at bar closer to the courtyard.

The man, the myth, the legend...Scott Kirkland proceeded to tear the roof off of XL LIve and leave a sonic crater on the stage in the form of DJ decks. Long live The Crystal Method!
I saw CM a few months ago in Riverside, CA at a small bar and although we had a good time, it wasn't nearly the fun we had at Top Golf this past Friday. I love that the venue was small and that the tickets were beyond affordable. CM's performance was amazing, sound and production were awesome! I look forward to attending another music event at Top Golf!
I had to grab tickets as soon as I saw the name. The Crystal method was a childhood favorite of mine. The show was a great mix of modern modes and his classics!
Crystal Method was everything I dreamed of and more. He even came out and danced with the crowd. So much energy and all out best time at a show! Oh yeah and the venue was awesome, I hope they bring more acts like this soon!
First time at Club XL in Harrisburg. I like the set-up, location, and staff. Crystal Method did not disappoint. Neither did the opening acts; GlassBeard & Yeahilikethat.
Played for a good long set. Few areas to sit. Great audio expertise but it needs to take the audience somewhere, maybe visually or props.
The bar for this event wasn't set that high for a 40-something who is tacky enough to call himself "Crystal Method," but I was willing to try a different venue for dancing and celebrating the start of 2016 with my Marquette friends. However, I did not hear a SINGLE song during his set when he went on at 11:30 pm. The 30 minutes that followed sounded like an amateur fratbro sampling the first seconds of every dubstep song ever produced. Not even a single bass drop. The audience (a wide range of ages) for the most part just stood watching while he wagged his tongue and pumped his fist in the air with his headphones over his eyes. After a night of drinking, I didn't think I was capable of sobering up that fast. My friends waited until midnight to grab our champagne and left to grab some flame mac & cheese pizza nearby. The only redeeming part of this event was the opening act, DJ Goose, who played some great songs one could actually dance to. Crystal Method should have opened up for him. Moral of the story, say no to spending $60 (or anything) on Crystal Method.
King James and DJ Goose were opening and enjoyed their sets more than Crystal Method. Venue and activities were awesome at Potawatomi Casino. Would I go again? Probably.
I'd heard nothing but good things about crystal method's show going into the night (I'd listened to them for years) and they were great. I'd see them again. The rest of the night was a waste. Sport coats, express dresses, weak drinks.. It was like going to Oak. King James spun pop. DJ Goose couldn't play four tracks without screwing up. At check in, we were told we weren't VIP. We had to fight just to get the free drinks on our tickets. It was our first time at Pota. Probably our last.
Outstanding event. Great music from Crystal Method and King James. Food was outstanding. Would like more mix drink variety. Venue location was amazing. Looking forward to next year's new year event.
Great show! We had a great time, fantastic evening. I'm amazed it took so long to find this awesome techno band. The Crystal Method have succeeded to stand on the shoulders of predecessors like Kraftwerk and Brian Eno, and have raised electronic music to a new stellar level of excellence. They're a lot of fun and a great show live too! Thanks to YouTube for introducing their music and also providing the ad link to buy tickets! Just Great.
The light show was great the music was great but the ticket said 10pm start time. THe band didnt show up and play till after midnight . Many of my friends could not stay till 2:30 am. What a waist of $25.00.
These two guys are so ridiculously good at taking a crowd for a ride. If you know their work, then I need say nothing more.
This was an amazing!!! There is just no other way to put it!!! Crystal Method blew the building down!!! :-D
Great Show!! Techno in Indy. I love it! They haven't lost it at all. The give Skrillex and the new breed a real run!
The show was awesome. Doors were at 10, Crystal Method came on around midnight and played till 2:15. Opening act was some no-name local DJ who played house. The Crystal Method set was perfect, just the right mix of electro, house, techno and dub step. They played solely from their equipment on the table, no Pioneer CDJ guitar things. The crowd was small compared to the Identity Festival, the Vogue was maybe half full. A lot of the people that were on the dance floor had no business being there - I attribute that to Indianapolis and not Crystal Method. All in all, the show was great.
I grew up listening to their music and FINALLY they play at my local dance club!! their two hour set began at midnight and didn't let up for a second! they started off loud, abusive, and explosive and those were all the best things that has ever happened. The Crystal Method incorporated lights, smoke, and fire into the show. Their whole set was danceable and they really got involved with the crowd. We got high-fives from them both, and they threw out glow sticks and used an iPad to send cool messages to the crowd. The Crystal Method mixed some of their new and old favorites, as well as splicing in other artists like The Chemical Brothers, Eurythmics, Fatboy Slim, and others. It was the best two hours of my adult life
The Crystal Method blew my mind like I hoped they would. They came out and just killed. Nonstop Crystal Method. The Vogue was the best venue to see them for the first time. Everything was perfect. An AMAZING night!!!!!!!!! Thanks Ticketmaster for being able to print out your tickets. Awesome. This was the best weekend. Perftect!!!!!
great music, great venue. Start time a little late (12pm)
