  • Great show!

by outanames on 10/12/10Festival Hall - GreensboroRating: 4 out of 5

Crystal Gayle seems to be timeless. Her band members were all excellent performers in their own rite. Having her sister with her brought a touch of Loretta to the act. I don't like large noisy crowds so Festival Hall is the perfect venue for me.

  • Chrystal Gayle is the best!

Wonderful performance. Ms. Gayle has a magnificient voice and her selections were varied and well done. The performance space was perfect!

I admit, I bought the ticket to hear Loretta Lynn, but Crystal Gayle was very enjoyable. She had hit songs before my time, so I came into the show without knowing anything about her music or voice. I was very impressed. She had a great personality and a gorgeous voice. I hope she continues to make new music. As for Loretta, it was thrilling to see her. I agree, at this venue, it was much better to have seats in the center section. I felt for those on the sides of the stage, but I lucked out getting 7th row seats. Loretta is showing her age and towards the end, she seemed so hot and uncomfortable that I just wanted to go up there and fan her. It seemed as if she had to just go through the motions to get through the performance. However, her voice is still very strong and her lyrics are just amazing. My one huge disappointment is that she didn't perform any songs off her "Van Lear Rose" album. I adore that album; it's the one that brought me to Loretta Lynn's brilliant music. I hope if she continues to perform, she adds some of that music into her show. It's vibrant, fresh, and some of her best work.

  • Loretta Lynn was great!!!

by Duwayne on 7/13/10Grand Casino Hinckley Event Center - HinckleyRating: 5 out of 5

The entire show was great!!! Crystal Gayle and Loretta Lynn have not lost their voice, they can both still sing. Both of them told some very funny jokes and Loretta Lynn said a few times, "It;s your show, what do you want to hear?" Before Loretta Lynn came out , one of her daughters came out and talked about the 50 years Loretta Lynn has in country music. They then put a video on that was great!!!! Loretta Lynns son did a song, her twin daughter's did a few songs and at the end Crystal Gayle and Loretta and Loretta's other sister did several songs together. It was a real family event and I would recommend this show to anyone who has ever been a Crystal Gayle and Loretta Lynn fan!!!!!

  • Loretta Lynn can still ROCK the house!

Cyrstal Gayle was good, but Loretta Lynn was absolutely fantastic. Loretta looked so beautiful and sounded wonderful. It is amazing to think she has been singing for 50 years. She is the best country entertainer ever! She started with my favorite song "They don't make 'em like my Daddy" and ended with my second favorite "Coalminers Daughter".

It was a little too close to each other. The chairs could be just a little further apart. The show was perfect. I would have liked to have seen all of the family on stage at one time. Brothers, Sisters and Children.

Enjoyed the music. Was not happy with where we were seated. Section E. We had to turn our heads to also see the big screen. It was hard to get a view of the singers on stage also. If I were to go to another concert here. I would only go if I had center seating.

  • crystal and Loretta really great.

Good sound and great songs. Only wish it was longer but we could tell it was getting too much for Ms Lynn. Enjoyed the music of her children but did not see the albums displayed to purchased.

by ssfrance on 7/10/10Grand Casino Hinckley Event Center - HinckleyRating: 5 out of 5

Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynn---two of Country's legends, especially Loretta. The concert was electrifying!! Both singers were in top form and Loretta always entertains the crowd with her down home honesty and charm!! She still has that fab voice and she sounds as good as she did 30 years ago!! I highly recommend this concert !! Loretta said that she and Crystal and Peggy Sue would be doing more concerts together !! Don't miss them when they come to your area !!

  • Loretta and Crystal Gale

by katidid54 on 7/10/10Grand Casino Hinckley Event Center - HinckleyRating: 5 out of 5

Last night was an enjoyable night with Loretta and her sister Crystal Gale in their concert, there isn't everyone that has a good bit of their family there on stage and it was very enjoyable. Being Loretta singing for 50 years was a wonderful event to attend. The audience was very receptive and the venue was sold out. The band were enjoyable to watch too, they conteracted with each other, and you usually don't see that too much, and she brought up the backuop singers, Lee and 2 others and they sang together.

  • Coal Miner's Daughters

by Samwise43 on 7/10/10Grand Casino Hinckley Event Center - HinckleyRating: 4 out of 5

The music was great, the bands were really good and the Coal Miner's Daughters were everything I had hoped they would be. Crystal Gayle has a wonderful voice and it was really fun to see her perform live. Loretta Lynn is the Grand Dame of country music in my mind and it was an honor to watch and listen to her. The little lady still has it going for her after fifty years in music. I salute her.
