All they sang were new songs and unpopular songs. They were good songs but not ones anyone knew.
I was disappointed. I like their ballads and expected to hear more of them. Had to leave at 11:20 pm, so concert was really late due to first act and setup for CCR. Maybe they plalyed Alabama, Sick and Tired, Last Train to Birmingham, etc after I left.
Cross Canadian Ragweed was awesome!!! They played some new songs and of course some of the favorites.
What a night. The Randy Rogers band just lit the the place up better than any opening act out there. Then Ragweed burned the place to the ground with an unstopable energy and playing one kick ass song after another.
Randy Rogers band boring, too laid back to open for CCR. Venue way too crowded. CCR was excellent
Randy Rogers Band was the perfect opener. What a great night of music. And a wonderful venue to see a show. I've seen Ragweed many times and this show, like all the others, was awesome. Can't wait to see them again!!!!
Randy Rodgers Rocked the house. It was amazing to see the house packed for the opening band.
Fun show to go to! Band is very talented! Rock on!
Both Randy Rogers and Cross Canadian were fantastic, just as good live as recorded. Full of energy and would see over and over.
Saw them at Red Rocks as an opening act for Dierks and was blown away. Purchased 3 records and still blown away. The show last night confirmed once again that the "arts" need to be kept alive, funded and kicking. Cody's guitar rifs were just and extension of him and his guitar - phenomenal. It was as though they were one and the same. WOW !!!!!! Old songs, I'm sure, were played with the same enthusiasm as when they were first written and performed. Thanks for the energized show
There was a great crowd there but since it was sold out it was almost uncomforably full.
I've seen both bands in concert separately before, and while Randy Rogers usualy puts on a good show, sometimes CCR is great and other times it's like watching a music video. This concert was the best Cross Canadian concert I have ever been to, and Randy Rogers once again did not fail to disappoint. Watching them jam together and combine forces to play some of their classics provided some great entertainment, and the concert was overall one of the best I've been to.
It was an amazing concert Cody and Randy put on a hell of a show. It was a great night though I was hoping for a few songs not played. I was looking forward to Carney Man and Bad Habit by Cross and Black Rose and Come Pick Me Up by Randy Rogers. Neither of them were played, but did not make the show any less awesome.
I have the CDs and was really looking forward to seeing the band live. I was so disappointed. The bass was so overwhelming that it completely drowned out the vocals. All effort put into writing great lyrics was wasted. Every song sounded the same as the one before and the one after - nothing but bass. And by the way, have you abandoned your country base?
This was my second year in a row to see the band on New Years Eve. As usual their show was full of energy and had a wide selection of their music. Although I appreciate CCR's efforts to introduce new bands; last years lineup was much better.
WOW - what an amazing concert! Great way to bring in 2010!
it was a long show started at 830 and ended around 130 or so. it would have been better without the 2nd act but overall it was a great show
The show was not bad but not great either. I have seen these guys at least 5 times and this was by far the worst.
This was an amazing concert. That is the first time that I have been to Billy Bob's in Fort Worth and I will definatly be returning!! They put on a great show!! I love them!!
