About

Creed is a multi-platinum rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1994. The band, comprising lead vocalist Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti (guitar/vocals), Brian Marshall (bass), and Scott Phillips (drums), has sold over 53 million albums worldwide. Their 1999 album Human Clay — which features the hit single "With Arms Wide Open" — is one of the best-selling albums of all time in the U.S. "With Arms Wide Open" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001. The post-grunge act disbanded in 2004, but have reunited twice: In 2009, they reunited to release their fourth album Full Circle and embark on multiple tours. Creed reunited for a second time in July 2023, and will embark on a massive run of tour dates in 2024.

  • Good to hear them together

by Blackberry2 on 8/30/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was really good, they sounded really blended and in sync. The person mixing their sound could have done better, but knowing the songs made it very enjoyable

  • Welcome back

by Duckrun on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

Awsome stage show. It looked like they were having fun. Scotts voice was about shot by the end of the show, but still sounded good. Mark and the rest of the band were amazing.

  • best concert in 36 years

by halacious on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to approx 50 concerts in my life, bands like uriah heep, chicago ,boston kansas, pink floyd, skynard ,kiss stones guns and roses, motley crue, journey ac/dc,def leppard and countless other rock, metal and country bands but by far the best concert that i have been to was friday Aug28,2009 at riverbend music center acts were LIKE A STORM (new band or new to me, they were great ) HOOBASTANK (awesome) and CREED==== PHENOMENAL THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE BEEN TO HANDS DOWN.

  • Creed put on a great show!

by Fishstick on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

The opening band (Like a storm) was not good at all. The second opener, Hoobastank, was GREAT. They really know how to get the audience in to a show. I was in the lawn so I was not real close but the energy was still good. Creed put on an AWESOME show! They did all of the songs I wanted to hear and I could have stayed another hour to listen to their songs. This is the 3rd Creed show I have been to (4th, but they did not play one show I went to) and it has been my favorite even though I was not real close to the stage.

  • Fun and Different

by NewMommy on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

I have been to A LOT of concerts and this one was different! I have never been to a Creed concert before and it was a lot of fun. The lead singer was acting a little weird. Definately different than any other singer I have seen. He was either super aggresive, on something or just really passionate about what he was doing. In any case, it was a great time and a good show. I would go see them again!

  • Great show

  • Creed was awesome!!!

by LindsayDBT on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Hands down Creed was the best concert I have ever been to. They are one of my favorite bands, and they proved me right at the concert. They did an awesome job! No lip singing, and they had the crowd on their feet the entire show singing and dancing. If they come back to Cincinnati I will deffinately go again! They rocked, and I'm so glad they got back together.

  • CREED- BEST SHOW OF THE YEAR!!

by Melani on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I love this band and they are one of the BEST LIVE SHOWS I've ever seen and this Reunion show was not to be missed!! I thought it was the best of 5 and loved every minute of it!! They were looking good and sounded better than ever, every song ROCKED THE HOUSE!! The pyrotechnics were awesome and I didn't want the show to end. I will never forget the show and consider it one my all time best concerts out of about 100 that I've been to. WOW what a great memory and I continue to be a fan for life!!

  • Blown away - didn't see this coming !

    by 1CJL on 8/30/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I was a big fan of Creed but never saw them live back in the day. That made it mandatory that I caught them this time around. I expected a decent show. I really was excited about seeing Mark Tremonti (guitar) perform. The real surprise, however, was how Scott Stapp delivered the vocals and kept the crowd in the palm of his hand. Total pro. For almost 2 hours he belted out hit after hit, singing his aS# off. The performance of the whole band was energetic. They all looked genuinely happy to be there playing for us. Aside from the awesomeness that was the bands delivery was one of the coolest light / pyro shows I've seen at a concert. Bottom line is the ticket price could have been double and I would have still felt it was a deal. I may travel to see them again on this tour, it was THAT good !

  • Incredible, soulful performances. Creed is back!!!

    by mercer5 on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to many concerts, but this one was the best. Scott Stapp is not only an amazing performer, but it is very obvious that the music comes from his soul. He was consumed by it and so was I. All of the musicians were superb.

  • creed was great! good to see them together again

by REman on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

My wife has been wanting to see creed again so her and I went and had a great time, i just wish alcohol and food prices where a little cheaper at these venues! CREED put on an awesome show, great setlist and sounded great! definately would see them again..

  • Absolutely Amazing

by Whorldtrvlr on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Sounded just like the CD! A band that can play as well live as with all the retakes and technology in a studio...makes going to a concert a true experience.

  • Creed rocked!!!

    by hydro14 on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

loved the show!!! scott stapp sang every song w/ so much feeling, not to mention that he looked hot as hell. seriously, when he finally took his shirt off, crazy awesome.

  • Creed was incredible!

by Dete on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I saw Creed 7 years ago at Riverbend for his 40th birthday. It was an incredible night which we will never forget! However, we saw them again last night at Riverbend to celebrate his 47th birthday and they were even better than before!! Absolutely awesome concert!! Scott sang with such emotion and had such a connection with the crowd that you felt personnally touched by him! Another unforgettable night!

  • better than ever!!!

Creed is one band I'll never forget seeing live. They were awesome!! In my opinion, they were better live than in studio!
