Craig Morgan is a veteran not only of Nashville, but also this great country; Morgan served in the United States Army for ten years before he returned to Tennessee and launched his music career in the late '90s. The country artist has since released seven studio albums featuring multiple top 10 hits. A regular on the tour circuit, Morgan continues to support the troops back home as well as abroad with benefit concerts. In fact, the charitable Morgan typically offers discounted or free tickets to the numerous shows he plays at military bases and on USO tours. Morgan will play select dates in early 2014 before kicking off a nationwide tour in February. Morgan released his greatest hits collection in 2013 following his sixth studio album, "This Ole Boy." The record features the title track as a single as well as "The World Needs a Kitchen" and "Better Stories."
The Tennessee native received the 2006 USO Merit Award for his tireless support of the U.S. military, and he also hosts an annual two-day charity for Billy's Place. After releasing his self-titled debut album in 2000, Morgan was behind the hits "That's What I Love About Sunday," which spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard country charts and "Redneck Yacht Club," off his best-selling album "My Kind of Livin'." The "International Harvester" continues to wow fans privileged to see him in concert, as Morgan is clearly a unique kind of rock star, one who not only produces top 10 hits on a regular basis, but also helps make the world a better place and actively supports the U.S. military.
Craig Morgan was awesome , very funny, and entertaining. I loved all his music and the venue was wonderful.
Been a fan of Craig Morgan for a number of year but this was my 1st time seeing him in concert and he did not disappoint. Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! He is so talented and he sure has a set of pipes on him! Would return to see him again and again. Really GREAT show! Love also how the theater is always kept clean, neat and no foul smells. From the outside to inside, Effingham Performance Center is always kept so beautiful. All employees are so friendly and helpful with a smile. We love going there for concerts when we can get away.
I love this venue! There is not a bad seat in the house. The concert was great!
Meet and greet.Fabulous show.Great entertainer.Wonderful facility.Personnel went out of their way to make experience unforgetable.
By far one of the best performances I have seen in my life. What a nice, kind, caring soul he has and it’s conveyed in his music and his stage presence. One of a kind!
Beautiful venue Great drinks Great seating Great opener Craig Morgan was unbelievable!! Thank you for honoring all those that served and are serving for our Freedom. Thank you for your service.
Craig was very entertaining and we really enjoyed his show. All his songs are great!!
Perfect venue - not a bad seat in the house!!! Craig Morgan ROCKED it!!!
I loved every minute of it except exiting the parking lot
The venue was absolutely amazing. Everything from the time of getting in into leaving was nothing short of smooth!! It was so nice to see Craig Morgan and what he does for the troops. He’s definitely a great singer and person.
Great show! Opening act Lindsey Lawler was awesome too. Craig, 2nd time I've seen him. He always gets the audience involved and all the emotions flow. Super great show.
Fun, Fun Fun. Music is amazing! Such a great entertainer. He was so engaging with the audience. I'd definitely recommend seeing him. You won't be disappointed.
I was a little disappointed, started late and ended early. One of the main acts didn't make the show which was my reason for attending
Craig Morgan appeared to be having as much fun as any performer whose concerts we have attended recently. His interactions with the audience were great. His tribute to those who have served our country was special. His teases for songs on the new album were really effective - my copy of the CD is on order.
We enjoyed the show very much. He also signed his book after the show
Fantastic show! High energy and great crowd involvement. Was not going off a script and it was one of the best shows I’ve seen. Amazing act, human, and God loving man. Can’t wait to see again and hear new album!
The theater was perfect for his show. From the opening to the close, the audience was treated to professional performers. Craig Morgan was able to bond with the audience and we loved it. Craig did something very special, he had every military veteran stand up and be recognized by branch. The band then gave a musical salute to us. It was a very special experience. Then there was his voice, we were stunned to hear him sing, he has a spectacular voice, exceptional is the word that describes his show-EXCEPTIONAL’
Craig took the time out to acknowledge the military men and women in the crowd and compliment the men and women in blue. What a stand up guy! I love Craig and his early show singers were fantastic. Great night! All the chills.....love country music♡
It fun and i love all of the songs and the for that remind me my dad and i had fun with my girls
We loved Craig and Pam. It was great being so close to stage. Venue was not well organized with delays and not well coordinated. Sound system was mediocre. Crowd was noisy and talked continuously. No restroom on ground floor.
