Awesome concert! High energy with great audience particpation. Would go again next year.
They were phenomenal!!! Fred has the energy of a child...They played non stop! They kicked major ass!
Great Night! Cowboy Mounth is always Great, but with a sold out show they delivered a show to remember! Fred was amazing! This was my fifth Cowboy Mouth show. Consistantly positive; a life experience. Can't wait until their back in town again.
One of the best concerts I have ever been to. The energy of the band was incredible. The crowd was alive. The floors were bouncing and the rafters shook. We all felt primal and lead to dance slowly at first and then building to a crazy frenzy. SO much fun!!!
I've been a fan since 92 and catch Cowboy Mouth when they make it to Colorado. I had my concerns that their buzz was fading. After the first minute it was clear its there and then some. Bluebird was intimate venue that allowed the band to be within arms reach (or red spoon shot) As hoped Fred and the gang hit it out of the park. Thanks for kicking off 2010 with a kaboom! If you don't see this band your cheating yourself
Cowboy Mouth from New Orleans, Louisiana - ALWAYS - delivers a high energy, soul cleansing riot of rock n roll. NYE is no different. Having road tripped for NYE with the Mouth at the Peabody in Memphis in 2007, we expected a great concert once again, but the VooDoo added that extra something that made it a PARTY as well. NEVER, but NEVER miss a CMNO concert. EVERYTHING is better after the Mouth resets your spiritual and mental apparatus.
Cowboy Mouth was amazing. Unfortunately, they were stuck playing in a terrible venue. I would tell everyone to go see Cowboy Mouth live, but I'd also strongly advise against ever going to the Voodoo Lounge for anything.
I thought Fred was subdued. Maybe because it was a New Year's Eve event that could have drawn others outside the regular CM crowd. I've been watching them play for about 15 years and I miss the good old tunes. The two new additions to the band can really rock out, and Fred's the main voice of the band, so I'm not sure why he stays away from some of the older music. I don't like the cover tunes they play. CM has enough of their own great music, they don't need to cover other bands tunes.
Cowboy Mouth brought in the New Year like no other band could! The concert kicked off their 2010 Mardi Gras tour. The band went on at 10:30pm and rocked straight on through until 12:30am. Cowboy Mouth is one of the best live shows anyone could ever hope to see. The band will keep you moving all night long and you will leave feeling great! I highly recommend this show to anyone!
The New Years Eve show ROCKED!!!!! Fred and the band put on an unforgetable show. Hope they keep to their word and do it again next year.
Great. loved the House of Blues because you can get up and personable. CB Mouth played with energy and excitement as they always do.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the audience. This was the least enthusiastic audience I've ever seen at a Cowboy Mouth show! How can you not be excited and crazy at on of their shows. I know its Thursday night, but come on, that's part of the experience! I've been to at least 7 shows, all in Chicago and they are wild! So much energy and so much fun. I really thought the band reacted to the lame crowd and didn't have their usual spark. Don't get me wrong, they still put on a terrific show. However, if I were the band the Dallas crowd wouldn't have done much to inspire me back any time soon.
If you've been to one Cowboy Mouth show, you know that you are in for an evening of energy. Cowboy Mouth delivers, the show is all about being involved, which it is pretty tough not to be. This was my 5th Cowboy Mouth show and I enjoyed it as much as every other time.
This is the third time I have attended a Cowboy Mouth show and it truly gets better every time! Their most recent show at State Theatre was truly amazing! The energy they give off have you leaving the show smiling and truly, as Fred would say, glad to be alive! I can't wait to see them again. The venue was an added bonus since it is very intimate you really can get right up close with the band. It is so much nicer than some of the larger venues and I think it contributes to the overall energy of the show. Fred and the entire Cowboy Mouth band know how to put on a one of a kind performance. If you have never seen them......you must go! If you have seen them.....you must go AGAIN!!!!
Cowboy Mouth Rocked the stage from the minute they got on to the final note. So fun. Greatest live band ever! Club diesel was a great venue as well! It was clean and friendly. Not impressed with the fact that youhave to buy a $2 wristband if you want to go outside. Bottom line, Cowboy Mouth puts on the most entertaining show.
Always loved Loverboy. They played just like it was years ago. Wonderful. Couldn't say much for Billy Squire though. Left his set 1/2 way through.
I am a Cowboy Mouth concert veteran and this was probably the best show I have seen them perform. The setlist was not the usual fare, and included some tunes I have not seen live before, as well as a couple of good covers. Freddy was as manic as ever and spent a long time hanging with the crowd between Cowboy Mouth and Loverboy. Aside from the energy of a Cowboy Mouth show, the Band's accesibility to their fans definitely sets them apart.
We only saw Billy Squier, Loverboy and most of Cowboy Mouth. They were awesome!!! I thought I didn't know anything from Cowboy Mouth, but I do. The lead singer is quite the showman. He had everybody up and dancing in the crowds. I really liked their performance. Loverboy....I have seen them several times over the past 25 years and they NEVER disappoint. Of course they are a little older, but aren't we all. Mike Reno sounded like he always has. GREAT!! I have never seen Billy Squier before. I really thought he was excellent. I think he had a new band with him, but they all seemed to be enjoying what they were doing and it showed in their set. I would definately go and see him again. I have to say that this concert was the best I have seen in a while. If you get the chance to go see any of them definately go. You will not be disappointed.
It was very crowded with overpriced food and drinks. No crowd control and no signs made it very hard to get to the reserved seating section. Loverboy was great. Billy Squier had sound problems. He also spent more time playing songs no one knew and had way too many jam fest on the guitar instead of playing songs people really wanted to hear. We left after an hour and a half. Many people left before us and several in the crowd were complaining.
This was a great night....Bring back the 80's..what great music. Loverboy rocked the crowd. Billy Squier was great also.
