Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, Hank Williams Jr., Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Dan + Shay, Jamey Johnson, Chris Janson, Chase Rice, Travis Tritt, Maddie & Tae, A Thousand Horses, Colt Ford, Easton Corbin  Eric Paslay, Kristian Bush, Pat Green, Margo Price, The Swon Brothers, Maggie Rose, Aubrie Sellers, Mark Chesnutt, William Michael Morgan, Mo Pitney, LANco, Asleep at the Wheel, Simba Jordan and more are all set for the 2nd annual Country 500 – The Great American Music Fest at Daytona, to be held Memorial Day Weekend, May 26, 27, & 28, 2017 at Daytona International Speedway! The “World Center of Racing” will again become the World Center of Entertainment over the Memorial Day holiday!

The inaugural Country 500 in 2016 drew an amazing 75,000 country music-craving fans from across the country to Daytona and was met with rave reviews after the event. Country 500 festivities are spread over three days and nights of the holiday weekend, with music programmed on two performance stages: the massive Country 500 Stage as well as the more intimate Bluebird Theatre Tent.  One of the biggest hits of the inaugural Country 500 was the ability to actually camp out in the infield, literally inside the festival for the entire weekend.  In 2017, fans will once again be offered a full-range of camping opportunities for virtually any budget, from pitching a tent to deluxe RV locations.  Fans at the festival will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of their favorite country stars at artist meet-and-greets located throughout pit road and the garages. Numerous other features — a select festival menu sold from food booths and food trucks; carnival rides; arcade games; cooling water elements; country-and-western merchandise; and more — will all be a part of the festival, as Country 500 once again transforms racing’s greatest venue into country music heaven.

“Country 500 is all revved up and ready to rock!” said Festival Producer Quint Davis.  “Year two of this only-in-Daytona super fest will once again feature something for everyone, from the hottest superstars Blake, Kid Rock, Miranda, Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett, to the most classic of country legends Hank Williams Jr., Martina McBride and the legendary country duo Brooks & Dunn, who will give a rare performance.   A total of more than 30 incredible artists will help create an unforgettable holiday weekend for fans in the magical world that is Daytona International Speedway.”

“After a successful inaugural event, the lineup of artists for the 2017 Country 500 music festival is going to be another who’s who of entertainers,” Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile said. “The Country 500 has quickly become one of the most anticipated festivals of the year and we encourage guests to start making their plans to spend the Memorial Day Weekend enjoying all the sights and sounds at the ‘World Center of Racing.’ ”

Three-day weekend passes, VIP packages, camping and travel packages are on sale now through Ticketmaster and Country500.com.

    Crew Chief VIP tickets disappointing

by relan on 6/1/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

The $1,000 price for the Crew Chief VIP was way too high for the value received. The indoor lounge was at the other end of the venue away from the stage, so you couldn't go there between acts. Also, they ran short on food and snacks. The second day, they didn't even have the complimentary water/tea/lemonade. I didn't bother going back again after that. The seated platform area was quite a distance from the stage, and not well guarded. There were a lot of people coming into the bathroom entrance up to the platform, taking seats and making for long waits at the bar line. For the price, I would think the seats would be closer. You basically could only view the concerts via the large screens. The artists were amazing though.

Amazing performances, Luke Bryan is a must see

by nicolaibell on 6/1/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this music festival. There was tons of food and drink vendors (although the beer selection was limited to the sponsor and therefore they did not have dark beer). There was plenty of toilets but not enough sinks to wash your hands in. The acts were awesome with some pleasant surprises, Kid Rock being one. He was on point, if not better than Luke Bryan and Colt Ford has gained a new fan. Just awesome!

Country 500 Should become an Annual Event!

by DianeF123 on 6/1/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

Fantastic weekend. Lineup was amazing. Every act appeared on-stage at the scheduled time. No rain. Couldn't be better. Organizers will have a hard time topping this for next year. The ONLY suggestion I would make would be for the organizers to AT LEAST DOUBLE the amount of portable toilets available.

    Country 500

by JoeV85 on 5/31/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

Stapleton and Kid Rock were AWESOME. Bathroom lines were too long and there was no cell coverage inside to send messages.

    Country 500

by FSUOrlfan on 5/31/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

I had a really good time. Great value. I would have liked to see the acts staggered between stages. With all of the acts being at the same time, you virtually had to choose a stage and stay there. The ports-let wash areas quickly ran out of water.

Concert was decent. It sucked having to rush back an forth to each stage. I wasn't happy about having to miss willie Nelson perform because I also wanted to see kid rock. There was children running around a bunch of drunk people. I think there should of been an age limit. As I watched 2 Kids get pushed an shoved by rowdy crowd members. I had an anxiety attack, emt was not helpful at all. I was told I was going to be givin a ride close to my car, I had to walk over a mile crying an sick. So I was lied to.

    Country 500

by DaytonaDoe on 5/31/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

The entertainment was great, everything was right on schedule and we really enjoyed ourselves. Here's the not so great, It required at least a mile or more of walking to get from the parking area and/or camping areas. The festival organizers need to work with DIS and pay to have the trams that run for the races also running for this festival. While it was fun, way too many people were "over beveraged" starting pretty early in the day. We saw 2 young women carried off the ground by fire rescue right in front of us, who knows how many others there were each day. It's a long day and it's hot, people need to learn to pace themselves. Will I go again next year; maybe; I guess it depends on the talent that comes and if I want to deal with all the drunk people. Parking cost $30.00

    Too Costly

by MrDisappointed246 on 5/31/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

The band line-up was good but I really hate to see the price gouging. One bar ran out of call vodka on Friday before dark but could not honor same price for a well. Charging $13 for a single call is highway robbery in my book. Then to run out the first day of the event... I won't be back.

    Country 500

by MacLaDong on 5/31/16Daytona International Speedway - Daytona Beach

Everything was pretty awesome, line up was great, food was good from the vendor's we ate from, the speedway is a neat place for a festival. Only two major problems; prepare to walk ALOT if you aren't camping/rv'ing for the weekend on site, and there is hardly any shade so prepare accordingly. Well maybe three, if you count expensive beer, but that's any concert I've been to.
