It was absolutely amazing!! From beginning to end- it was a great show!!! Mercury ballroom is a great venue, the only bad thing i can say is drinks are extremely over priced!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
All the bands were awesome and being able to be so close to the stage with a general admission ticket is always a plus. However, drink prices were the worst I’ve ever seen at a concert anywhere. 2 PBR’s were $28. The bar also continued to serve people wayyy beyond the point of plastered causing people to vomit in the middle of the standing area leading to people slipping and falling in the puke, the same people that you were being shoved up against while the huge sweaty fat guys ran against the back of the first three rows the entire time COC were playing. Also the difference between ticket prices was ridiculous. $26 for GA but the next step for “priority seating” was $115, which took several phone calls that weren’t returned until the DAY OF THE SHOW to find out...after I’d already given up and purchased GA tickets. Honestly was pretty disappointed in the venue experience, gave 4 stars for the bands.
COC, Crowbar and The Obsessed killed the stage as always and expected but The Orpheum as a venue had gone downhill since the remodel and the staff change had done nothing but create nasty attitudes amongst them creating a horrible experience in club.
If you're a fan of Black Sabbath then this hard and heavy veterans are sure to please. No pre recorded music here! They always put on a good show and sound as true as their studio efforts live.
The opening acts were AMAZING. COC? well, there's not a whole lot toooh can say, they NEVER disappoint. LOVE THEM!
This was one of the better shows I have seen in the last few years. Usually I try to avoid the opening bands. But every band at this show was solid and a little bit different than the others. The pace of the show was also very good. The crew did a great job of getting one bands gear off the stage. And the next bands gear on the stage very quickly. COC took a little longer to get on but not to bad. I have been critical in the past of Masquerade. But on this night they did a great job and put on a good show.
Saw CoC for the third time the other night. These guys rock. Always. Period.
One of the heavier shows that I have seen of the hard rock genre. A lot of heavy riffs and bottom end power from all four bands. It was the second night in a row that I had seen CoC and they were just as good both nights.
I cant get enough of COC Live. They bring it every time and love playing with rarely seen passion and drive. Wish I could follow them on tour. Need to win the lottery to make it happen🤘🤘
COC brought the most powerful lineup of musicians to rock out on a Sunday not!! RIGHT ON. COME BACK SOON!!!
The bands and the venue both ROCKED!!! Couldn’t have asked for more, except more shows there!!!
Corrosion Of Conformity played an awesome set with high energy that kept the fans wanting more!!!
Great sound. Loud as hell. Tight set, and the guys were clearly having fun. Great venue to see such an iconic band. Reminded me of the early days in Raleigh. Great show, guys!
Started with These Shrouded Temples but didn't go right into Damned For All Time. Didn't play Drowning in a Daydream Otherwise awesome show. Get there early for Mothership. They killed it.
Good. Great. Grand. Wonderful. Minimum required characters.
It was cool, there was a guy who sang and also played guitar, he seemed to really get into it at different points during the song but banging his head. This other gentleman who looked like a Appalachian mountain man also played guitar and was darn good at t as well. During some songs he even sang a bit to add a boost of energy. Then there was this Muppet looking guy on the right who played the bass guitar, I have to say he was the highlight of the show and was wonderful to watch. Last but definitely not least there was a hillbilly looking fellow banging the drums, always seems to be in rhythm and very very good. I enjoyed him a lot as well. They played a lot of songs that people knew, the crowd was even singing along a lot during the show. I think a skunk may have snuck into the show also, cause it was stinky, but in a pleasant way. Some of the song highlights were 'Broken Man', which i think is about a man having sex with a girl and the girl moves fast and bends the man's penis in a very awkward way, in so much that it feels Broken. They followed that song up with another about this poor Broken Man called 'Senor Limpio, his poor penis. Then there was a song about women called 'Seven Day's", it really focused on the menstrual cycle and the 7 Days it would take to clean that dirty blood out of her system. The other highlight was the song 'Heaven's Not Overflowing', I am pretty sure that is about Muslim extremists and how they are not going to heaven, and how heaven is not overflowing with them, and there is lots of room for other good people, very religious song
the Venue was perfect - small great floor area for a nice little pit and seats to relax and chill - the sound was amazing and the band kicked ass, a great show all the way around
If you have a chance to see COC, don't miss it! An excellent group of musicians. The combination of Woody and Pepper is worth the money! I've seen them twice in the past 2 months and both shows were great.
Teragram Ballroom kicks a$$. I loved it. BRANT BJORK RULES!! COC always fun!
