  • The CT Sun game was great!!

by JustaNupe on 7/1/13Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first time attending a Connecticut Sun game. The atmosphere was very friendly and exciting. I just wish the crowd would have been more enthusiastic during the game just like they were when t-shirts were being thrown into the stands. I truly believe that the Connecticut Sun team members would have put forth even more effort if their home fans were a bit more supportive no matter if they are winning the game or not.

  • Connecticut Sun vs. Phoenix Mercury

    by Woodstock48 on 7/1/13Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 2 out of 5

Loud arena without good acoustics. Example: couldn't hear a word of the song the girl at halftime was trying to sing; didn't really matter as no one was interested. Tried to be the Superbowl when this was a regular season women's basketball game. The game itself was terrible...no one other than Diana can shoot the basketball!

Always fun to root for the ladies. Too bad so many are out with injuries.

seats were wonderful, however the SUN lost. It was by only 1 point, but they really need to win. wonderful having the girl scouts at the game.

  • disapointed

by UCon on 6/18/13Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 4 out of 5

I was disappointed in the Sun's play and hoped to see a better game. The arena is very good with good sight lines, etc. I guess I need a food guide to the more reasonable eating choices. If we decide to attend all American Conference tournament games we can not afford $20 + for our main meal each day. and it is hard to leave the arena between sessions to find a place to eat off site.

The play was good, especially considering it was the season opener. Two cautions: never get seats behind the basket. The baskets are floor mounted and you can't see a thing. If they were suspended from the ceiling, they would be great seats. 2. If you're there to see basketball, be prepared for the never-ending onslaught of music and forced cheers. Unlike the college game, they seem to have a need to fill every moment with some kind of music, entertainment, or cheerleading. There wasn't a second where you could hear just the sounds of the game itself; the ball bouncing, the sneakers squeak, the players yelling at each other. Other than that, the arena has good views from any of the bottom tier seats.

Enjoyable game. Kara Lawson's play was awesome, but the rest of team stepped up nicely.

    by Tony500 on 9/21/12Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed the whole game, even when Indiana started a run. That's when Kara Alison and Tina stepped up. Really happy to see Asjha back in the lineup. She is vital to a championship, because of her experience, in my mind.

Although the officials were lacking in accuracy, the teams played tough. Lots of lead changes and ties. And then OT!

  • WNBA game at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut

Very good seats, reasonably priced, easy access to food and drinks. Nice arena at the Mohegan Sun.

  • Good game and experience

    by Bob110 on 8/22/12Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Sun are a good team to watch. The girls game continues to improve. And Tina Charles is worth the price of admission. She is a gifted, special person and continues to get better. It's not the men but almost as much fun to watch and a whole lot cheaper.
