I took my son to the Gold Cup games and it was a great experience. International soccer games are simply different. Fans are passionate in a great way. I've seen all of Atlanta's sports teams play live, the NCAA Championship, Opening Games of the Olympics, and this was as much fun as any sports event I've attended in Atlanta. Environment was electric during the Mexico-Trinidad game!
Every exciting and fun! I hope they schedule more games in atlanta.
Every time Mexico comes I go and watch them, I love soccer and to me Mexico is the best :)
Loved all the fans of Mexico and while that game was a barn-burner, seeing 7 goals in the first game was outstanding. Just wish the Mexican fans had gotten to their seats a bit earlier to enjoy (undoubtedly Georgia Dome concessions were hoping for the same). Still - a great time and hoping that Atlanta lands the Finals at the new Stadium in 2017. The Georgia Dome is a bit dated for hosting soccer - the "real grass" field didn't work out so well (just read the comments in the Atlanta Journal Constitution). Shouldn't have those problems in the new stadium.
Event was so much fun..staff got everyone in quickly since ut was raining
Was able to see 2 Gold Cup quarterfinal games right at midfield. Awesome games and awesome view. The more soccer games that Georgia hosts, the more money I will throw at them. Please bring more soccer to Atlanta!
