Everything about the night was wonderful, except maybe the line to get into the theater, seemed to take longer than necessary. Common put on an exceptional show with a mix of old and new songs. It is wonderful to see that he and his work have grown with him over the years. He is not stagnant artistically. And he modelled the let love theme by showing some love to a few up and coming and youtube artists. The concession prices were pretty good for an NYC theater.

This wasn't a concert. It was an experience. It was well put together, energetic and all around DOPE! I went to the Charlotte show and just got online to see if I could catch another date. It's been about a month since he was here and I'm still trying to find the show again.

I am stationed in Germany and saw Common when he passed through Cologne’s Carlswerk Victoria. This concert was amazing! Even the DJ that played for 2 hrs was on point! common brought me up on stage during his performance of Come Close! I must have floated onto the stage because I don’t remember a thing, if it were not for my friends recording the entire thing I wouldn’t even believe it happened! Up Close and Personal! Riveting and theatrical performance! Thanks for showing us love over there in Germany!

This event was great from beginning to the end. The young lady Lyric was amazing, I have high hope for her future. The poet was amazing also. Ms. Pitt gave some very insightful information. The Sounds of Blackness and Common did their thing.

Everything was amazing! Especially Common!!! I learned a lot of history about some of my ancestors!
